Biography/Personality: Mrs. Becker is a native of Salem and greatly enjoys her job as a teacher. She has been teaching at John Endecott Memorial for the past 10 years. She has a philosophy of making learning fun and is a big fan of hands-on assignments for her classes, particularly physics. She often has her students engaged in hands-on learning doing chemical reactions or building things. Mrs. Becker runs the annual school science fair and encourages unusual creations that also teach an aspect of science.

Her sense of humor and unusual assignments are popular with some students but seen as too weird silly by others. Those who just want a more straightforward teacher may find themselves bewildered or annoyed. As a coach, she is more serious and tries her best to run a tight ship on the girl’s sports teams. She is married to a local dentist named Katrina.
