Located on the first floor of the school building, the language arts wing houses all the school's English, Spanish, and other foreign language classes. The Principal's office is also in this area.

As Maddy walked away, Theo looked after her forlornly. What had he been thinking? All of a sudden, he had two people trying to set him up with blind dates for Prom. He felt his breath draw shorter and shorter. He ran through his mental exercises quickly to get it back under control.

The odds of either Maddy or Teo succeeding were miniscule. The whole school knew about him, after all. The Crazy Yid. Yeah, they were just trying to be nice, to make sure that he wouldn't lose it with them. Deep breaths, Theo. Think positive.

He gathered the rest of his stuff, including his notepad, and placed it all carefully into his backpack. The routine helped calm him. Both Teo and Maddy were trying to help him. He could have friends. His experience with Vic had taught him that much, even if he had ruined it at the end. He quietly made a mental note to apologise to her when he got the chance, for about the 5th time that day.

He must tell Doctor Brock. They'd finally hit upon a successful dose. He was in control now. As he left the classroom, he began to whistle, tunelessly.

((Theodore Behr cont'd elsewhere))
