Appearance: Avery is a little over average height, standing at about 5'11. His build is very angular, with pointed features, especially on the face. He has built up strength thanks to his martial arts training, but at first glance, it's easy to underestimate his strength He has dark brown hair with a slight wave to it, which he has let grow to chin length. He has bright, forest green eyes. He has a gold hoop earring in one ear. He tends to wear mostly dark colors. Not as a fashion statement, but because they're easy to match.

Biography: As far as personality goes, Avery tends to be a little isolated. He tends to stay in the background, not really saying much. However, he is rather quick to anger, and his verbal barbs can sting just as much as his physical kicks and punches. But to the select few he chooses to get close to, he is a loyal protector. Messing with Avery's freinds means you're messing with Avery.

Avery's parents divorced when he was ten, and he currently lives with his father, but he has stayed in touch with his mother through letters and phone calls. Avery's father is now remarried, and Avery now has a 6 year old half sister, Sarah.

As far as popularity goes, Avery has a close circle of freinds and not much else. Those who don't know him often find themselves alienated by his icy demeanor. A few girls have developed crushes on Avery, but he was never really interested.

Avery secretly has an artistic side. He appreciates music, but he has never had any real musical talent of his own. (In fact, he can't carry a tune in a bucket). He is currently trying to right a novel about rival clans of warriors. In fact, his ambition in life is to become a writer.

The exception to the "girls find him strange" rule is Erica Brenner. They met in the Archery Club, and very (very) slowly fromed a freindship based on their similar interests in Archery, Music, and Writing. Currently, Erica is Avery's unoffical girlriend.

Advantages: Well, definetly his archery and martial arts. Also, he has a sense of honor, but he isnt unduly forgiving. (Meaning: He won't play the game unless he absolutely has to, but if the need arises, he won't hesitate).

Disadvantages: His short fuse is definetly up there. His protectiveness to the few he is close to might cause him to be self sacrificing. (His love for Erica might be his downfall).
