Bring Out Your Dead

Howdy folks. Since I'm reading everything lately anyway I wanna crack my critique threads back open. This one in particular is for dead/completed kids only. Winners and escapees are fine, but the purpose of this queue is to get in deep on completed stories. With that in mind I'm gonna be expanding my format a little bit from how it was in the days before Tapa, and it's been forever since I did one of these anyway so here's a refresher on what it looks like:

THE CONCEPT

My understanding of the character from initial pitch to evolution to conclusion. I'm gonna try to keep this short and I'm open to also using this section to present and respond to your take on your character's concept? Not a requirement though, it's mostly for context.

THE QUOTES

Here I want to highlight notable quotes or bits of narrative that come up through your character's story. I'm not sure what kind of floor and ceiling I'm setting for these yet and feel free to offer your own as well if you want.

THE COMPELLING

What's getting your hooks into me? What pulls me forward and makes me want more of your character? What builds inertia for you and the characters you interact with?

THE DRAGGING

What's taking me out of your narrative? What feels like it's holding you back? What's having a negative effect on your pacing?

THE NITPICKY

What's Paige being a bitch about? What doesn't fit into the above sections? What feels like it might just be a me thing? What am I gonna meme about? What's historically a section that doesn't get utilized a lot but I'm stubbornly clinging to for value?

Wow fun fact Tapa super duper blows to read on and trying to use the new search function makes me yearn to be abducted by terrorists. I'm gonna have to make this queue V7 only; if you signed up and don't have a dead V7 kid you want me to talk about accept this token to get instantly added to a later queue of your choice. Hnnng i am hoisted by my own precedent since i let mara request this so for this queue yes I will I guess if all links are fixed but i do not have my mojo back yet. Version hopping is super disorienting and these two in particular will be extra slow for it, future queues are v7 only until further notice
