Did I miss something? Who says that being jailed comes with a post restriction?

Sure. My name is Mami Tomoe, who is apparently a skilled and experienced magical girl. Under the circumstances, I feel as if I've been miscast.

Anyhow, the specifics of being jailed is that you become protected from night actions, but you're also blocked from using your own. Effectively, it's a combination doctor and roleblocker. As far as I know, being jailed does not put any posting restrictions on people.

You said we get reads off of lynches. What would your reads have been if MeS flipped town? If he flipped scum? What I dislike is that you point at lynching MeS as a way of getting us information and then you won't say what information you think we're gonna actually get.

You can see who was backing it, who maybe was trying to dissuade it, who was against it and/or reading properly.

So who was backing it, dissuading it, etc.? More to the point, what conclusions would you, specifically, be drawing from these facts?

Mami makes absolute sense, flavor-wise, for a jailkeeper. She's also a fairly prominent role that appears in the anime, so scum is unlikely to feel super confident claiming that without a safeclaim. tl;dr if Blast is scum, scum almost certainly have safeclaims.

Also there are explicitly no post restrictions in this game, y'all.

Pretty sure I said it. You get information based upon who was supporting the lynch, who was trying to go with it without seeming like they were on board, etc.

Post 216, I discuss maybe lynching him because of weird behavior is a good idea because I don't know what else to do.

Post 249. Same thing. Same concerns.

If he flips town, people like prim and poly who seemed to be more driving the bus on him become more suspicious to me because they're on board more than most it seemed. If he flips scum, then hey, that's good for them.

I don't know if I can give you any more than that because honestly my thought processes weren't any more complex than that.

Ribbons tie things the fuck up??? Also iirc she's explicitly tied up, like, homerun-chan in the show, to stop her from interfering in something. That sounds like a jailkeeper thing, since it both keeps homura from getting into the fight and thereby getting hurt, and also keeps her from interfering in the fight.

Some more thoughts: if MeS is scum then everyone who dropped a soft info-lynch vote on him gets a hard townread from me. Scum in our games can be quick to bus but that would really be a rather absurd bus.

Just want to point out that this thinking, while seemingly logical is flawed. The best place for scum to hide is in a lynch on their own guy, especially when the train was slow and didn’t seem likely to succeed like it was yesterday.

@Zetsu: For the MethSlacker lynch; I was actually thinking that there was a 50/50 chance of him actually be VT so I just continued to go with my gut feeling as his behaviour was rubbing me the wrong way and I was kind of doubting that he was a VT.

Yeah, Blast being the jailer is making me feel that it is very odd for him to say anything about it this early and him and Boogie are now both pretty high on the suspicious list for me. I think it is too easy for scum to claim that they have a town role and now I'm gonna have to disagree with the people trying to defend Blast. Two claims in one day is a big no for me.
