The remaining magical girls of Kamihama had had hope. Three of the perpetrators, three murderers were gone. Were they safe, now, they wondered? At least, were they safer? The witches of the city did not understand the situation and calm their constant attacks on the city's civilians. Magical girls needed to continue their duties, or else many more would die. But to continue to fight was to put oneself in danger. It was an impossible conundrum.
It was two girls from Mitakihara who sacrificed themselves, for that greater good.
MADOKA KANAME led the charge. Pure of heart, beloved by all, she could not tolerate the loss of life inflicted by the city's witches. With no fear for her own safety, she set out in the night, determined and smiling all along. With her was KYOKO SAKURA, ever-selfish, ever-greedy, but broken-hearted at the loss of the one dearest to her. Both girls had little left to lose. Both died, together, having successfully brought several witches to heel, having saved the lives of a number of civilians in the process.
But the witches continue to multiply.
Few girls remain to do the job they are needed for.
A voice in the dark, smiling at the bodies, whispers:
"Finally."

fairly safe to assume we've got one scum and one serial killer at this point, which means 2/5ths of us are scum. this is pretty spooky, since, like, if any townie miscasts a vote, maf and SK can hop on the bandwagon and end the dayphase. if they've figured out each other's identities, they can then kill the other two townies and win together

Would getting everyone to roleclaim and picking apart the inconsistencies help? Like, see what everyone claims to be, and check if it holds up to other established facts.
