I have grave news, esteemed members of Survival of the Fittest. There has been a... staff revolt. Yes, there has been a complete and total upheaval of the staff team here at SotF, an uprising of sorts, and I fear that if these rogue staffers aren't stopped it could spell the end for the site.
I'm your host, MK Kilmarnock. What? I'm Staff? Well, I mean, yes, but you see, it's... well what happened was- look, never mind all that. Focus on the matter at hand: If our Handlers don't do something, and fast, it looks like the matrix fairies were right all along and we'll never see a V8!

All the typical rules apply. We'll have a day phase that starts once I have all Role PMs confirmed. Day 1 is typically a joke phase but nothing's written in stone; it's up to you all to decide how seriously you want to take things. Before we get into the rules itself, just some flavor things to note: Scum in this game are staff of SotF. People may still use the terms 'werewolves', 'mafia' and 'scum' interchangeably due to force of habit from playing other games, and I'd prefer that not be held against them. Good? Good. Now, because we have some newer players, I've got some ground rules for Mafia that it doesn't hurt to lay down.
1. When placing a vote for scum, please make sure to embolden your text in red and format it like so: Vote: MK Kilmarnock. Failure to do this will not automatically disqualify your vote but I may miss it when counting and if I do, tough luck.
2. To Unvote, just do the same thing but in green. UNVOTE. You may also use 'Finger of suspicion' as an eye-catching way of starting conversation, that is typically done in Yellow.
3. In-game, I will be using pink for moderator messages. Refrain from using this color. That is so mod messages can be seen at a glance; phase results will not necessarily use this color unless I feel like it.
4. If you have questions for me, you may PM me on site, Discord, or message me via the game using bold yellow text. Public questions are answered publicly, private questions will be answered privately.
5. I will not answer questions about other players' roles.
6. As always, after your death you may post one contentless 'bah' post. You may NOT indicate suspicion of anybody or accuse anybody in your bah post, nor may you reveal any information you have learned.
7. DO NOT quote role PMs. Paraphrasing is acceptable.
8. No outside discussion of the game in any fashion is permitted while the game is ongoing. Any and all discussion MUST take place in the game during a day phase. Scum are permitted to talk during night phase and will have a chat set up for them on night 1. Other roles may have discussion forums enabled; these will be noted in your role PMs.
9. Don't be a dick. I may or may not warn you once; if you've been warned and your behavior continues to be unacceptable, I'll Light-of-Judgement your ass.
10. This ruleset is subject to change at any time. If it changes during the game, I will notify you with a bold pink message.
11. No invisitext, encrypted text or otherwise obscured text.
