yes he did defend himself after that but at that point i felt like it was just desperation. i was Wrong, obviously, which means i should look more closely at those posts than i did the other night, but at the time i admit to having been like "i mean its too little too late now tbh".

We weren’t gonna get another lynch train going before the day ended, and I thought this one kinda made sense? I wanted to make sure the lynch went through, and I did think we were gonna get good info out of it. As it happens, mw dying has kinda prevented my main read from happening (in a good way of course), (though I was somewhat pleased to see that my guess was correct).

and also i may have hallucinated Toben galaxy brain winking at me and bamboozled myself into thinking he was some investigative role, and therefore, probably town, and therefore, not starting a wagon on poly for ulterior motives

I was going to gun for Toben and myself now that I know that Poly is VT, but great job, Paranoid gun owner/whoever killed them for revealing Toben. I'm not great with defenses, but here's my thought processes.

I'm a new player, who finds Toben's read of Poly rather accurate and VERY convincing, once Deamon asks why Poly is being suspected, I give my reasoning although people have already posted after that. I come to a lot of the same conclusion as the others, that Poly's non-Jace training was sus and he was at an awfully convenient time jumping into the Decoy train. Poly's defense was interesting, but I reckoned a lynch was better then no lynch, even if it was an info lynch. That was why I pointed my fingers at Toben, since I notice he kinda drives the game a lot, and people starting training after his vote, AND I wasn't completely convinced by his quietness during the first day.

On another note, VT is probably like, a pretty damn good scumclaim, since it won't be targetted by goons since it's not a power role, and it just so happened Poly WAS a VT after all. Bah.

imo town lynches are the opposite suspicion-direction of mafia ones; earlier members of the lynch train are more sus since obvs mafia knows who town is and can just sit out of a lynch so they look less suspect after a bad lynch, but its good for them to Start bad lynches. so that would be kermit, slam, and, uh, me
