I'm going to point a big FoS at Jace and Blizzard in this memest of times; both of them have indicated that they suspect people of being aliens.

Except that in this game; flavour-wise, XCOM is the scum (which is a very intriguing choice that I appreciate knowing the lore, Deamon).

So in this game, humans are the bad guys.

I would guess that town is probably made up of the actual Advent aliens (power roles) and the vanilla town roles are probably collaborating humans.

Which to me, points a really big finger at both of them not knowing that, either because they don't know the lore and are scum; or could be vanilla town.

I know, we're not supposed to be real in the first phase, but I finally had a chance to read it all back and that's what stuck out to me.

walk me through the train of thought here. mafia know they are humans and the bad guys. town know they are aliens and the good guys. for the sake of argument we'll say i 100% agree jace doesn't seem to realize which side is town and which is scum, proving that he...didn't read his role PM or the fluff? not connecting the dots on how this makes him scum, since if he was scum he would know that humans are the baddies by virtue of being one and it would be a galaxy brain play too big for lil ol me to then be like "yes, i am human, who is town, haha let us murder aliens." so what's the actual case here behind him being scum for your read on his actions?
