I'm trying to pick through Irina's play by the way, but I realize there's no point in looking for scumtells from her because... as noted by many other people already (not here, but like, generally speaking), her play is SUPER scummy anyway. So I'm letting that sit on the backburner as a false tell, for now, until I notice something I simply can't ignore.

if we're figuring out Irina's scum meta based off of past play then Irina's scum meta is, if Paranoia Mafia is allowed to be indication, 'accidentally names her scum partner in the thread'

Also, if flavour speculation is still allowed: research on what War of the Chosen is (like, whether it was just the subtitle for XCOM 2 or a DLC campaign — it's the latter) tells me that there are zombie third parties who like to kill both XCOM and ADVENT. Should we be worried about zombie third parties who like to kill ADVENT?

Yup, I have been mafia before, my play was a total of one post: "Sorry I was inactive, [You know who you are], and now I dead ", but everyone there was mafia so I don't think that counts. Also, on the topic of Dodd, yeah, his throw in the towel post, I'm pretty sure was an attempted psych-out like everyone's suggested, but like, saying he's using real life for pity points sounds really uh, not good. I don't want to be the person to call out ir stuff, so yeah.

I'm going to FOS: Cactus, since we've still got a bit of the day left, but I'll vote later on, just don't want to lunch while there's still a discussion going on, and stuff left to cover. Will second Boogie, best not to worry about something that might not even exist

Lemme raincheck this for tomorrow as I have a soft rule not to dig into mafia too hard after midnight (it messes with my sleep) and I was like "Oh lemme just do a quick response" but there's five pages of new stuff from the ~3.5 hours it took me to run a little errand, cook and eat dinner, and make a post I owed for ages. ;-; Starting tomorrow's read at post 166 (also it'll be afternoon/evening because I have work, boo).

I don't have any smoking gun evidence that Jace is scum. I could believe he was just being hasty in reading his role PM and wasn't paying attention.

But he's putting out an excessive amount of noise that's actually more disruptive than helpful, because it makes it harder to read through things and get an understanding. His accusing of Dodd feels chainsawy to me (and seriously guys lay off, none of this 'using "life is reallly hard right now" is a ploy/smokescreen!' bullshit, ok?), and there's an awful lot more activity compared to last round. Could be that he feels he's in the swing of things, or could be mafia motivation to lead the narrative.

Mostly I just want to lynch him because it'll clear up noise and we'll get a lot of information out of a dead Jace considering how many conversations he's been in. Also he's already claimed vanilla townie, so expendable.

And while I get the reasoning behind Slam's call for a "mostly to get rid of noise" lynch of Jace, I sorta see the noise as potentially helpful?

iso is short for isolation ie looking at one user's posts. so u read an iso by going back and looking at everything one person has said and looking for patterns and inconsistencies and shit

That's an interesting direction to push when Jace's "noise" has largely been to push back against accusations against him from boogie/MW/Cactus/me, and to push suspicions against Cactus. Neither strike me as particularly noisy compared to other loud posters unless you want Jace dead and Cactus alive.
