It's super easy to be flippant about yugi's flip in a town!jace future cuz if he's not scum i do not see him living the night so like problem solved super quick in my playbook

It's also entirely possible Yugi and I are both scum playing the hell out of Jace's misfortune since right now a Jace flip would let me strategically back off Yugi and I've crumbed other suspicion targets for tomorrow. Got the ol' dog and pony show of laying out all the ways my client is guilty around the slim ray of hope they ain't because I know all the facts of our case lie in that seemingly tiny possibility. That would be the ideal shake out for me if I was scum right now, two mislynches in a row followed by good townread clearance for me and my scumbuddy.

Is scum!Paige crazy enough to try and pull that scam then lay it out in broad daylight?

Yeah, that's what's actually more normal in mafia in my experience. As far as I know, Star Wars Mafia was one of the few that went "/shrug all y'all are stormtroopers." It's the only thing that makes sense to me with the results, but...

1. It still leaves one of you and Jace scum (more likely Jace because you crumbed early--I can see a case for jumping on it if he's Town and you're scum but it lasts only as long as no other VT flips, at which point the jig is up).

2. Your actions to this point have my eyebrow well and truly raised more or less regardless of the specifics of the setup.

Alright. I was thinking of a plan of 'one more townie should claim' between me making that post and you replying but I realized that that plan was foolable enough (e.g not enough of a slam dunk towards whether jace is town/scum) to not really be worth trying.

Why don't you seen Yugi living through the night, Paige? He's claimed VT in an incredibly cover'y way, and although like, I also personally don't see Yugi's actions in a scummy light if town Jace is the reality (Despite the whole 'Jace's is attaching to me' thing), I can see coaching from Day 1, but after the night chat? Nope. Also, weakass claim with some weird as flavouring. I know troopers are the big numbers, but one officier, TWO troopers? BOTH VT? Yeah, unless Deamon has some weird set up, I think there's either no trooper among them, or one of them is trooper.

Also, yeah, will second the earlier discussions. VOTE: Jace, because quite frankly, all this discussion about him is like a vacuum, and if we keep him around, chances are, we'll be getting no other points of discussion. A single point is still better then waffling about, but like, there's wayyy more scum then just Yugi and Jace, and worst case scenario, even a third party.

re: this see I know that going 'okay just kill me' isn't exactly an ideal strategy (which is... something I wanna talk about outside this game if I remember to, apparently I have a way different perspective on whether that's a towny/scummy thing to do) but if we lynch jace and he is scum I fully welcome any vigi or town-aligned-killer to just end my life if only because it will allow town to maybe have a day phase that isn't exclusively talking about jace

This is fairly clearly the consensus among the vast majority of you, in one way or another, but I'm interested in hearing how my inevitable town flip will affect your guys' read of people like Yugi. The talk about me is a vacuum as has been stated, and I'd really love to look beyond that for a bit.

That is to say, I'm hearing alot about what will happen if I flip scum, but not so much about if/when I flip town and I am interested in hearing where the discussion would go after that. Even if y'all are gonna lynch me at the end of the phase I'd really like to hear more about where this WILL go when that happens.
