there really, really isn't all that much to yugi rn like you can count his posts that don't involve flavor and or jace on one hand

To complete my thoughts on boogie:

Boogie's pushing against the Dodd push and then getting on it once it became clear it was gonna be that day's lynch is a pretty neutral look to me. The main thing giving me townpoints for his gameplay is that he was one of the first people to jump on jace for messing up game setup stuff. Could he have been bussisng? Yeah, boogie's consistently and sometimes proactively bussed the past coupla games. The thing is, messing up game setup stuff is hardly bus-worthy material. In fact, in a vacuum, I'd read it as townie. It's a very cheap scumread, which makes perfect sense if boogie is scum trying to mislynch jace town, but no sense if boogie is scum looking at a scumbuddy.

So yeah, I guess boogie trends town if Jace flips scum, and scum if Jace flips town. I’m starting to WIFOM myself for the first half of that sentence, though.

Also there were about ten pages while I slept and I read through them and all I retained was that we now will lynch Jace (because something happened that turned the read from clumsy town to clumsy scum idk) and that zetsu and paige are having a far more important competition than any mafia game

Well it's kind of hard to pull anything out of this game anymore when we're on 40 posts in day 2.

My thoughts at the moment (and I know Tobe has a bunch of posts following on from this one) is that people should stop declaring Tobe is the undisputed ultimate analyser/efforposter/whatever. Tobe's great and all but he isn't the mastermind of mafia that will win or lose games the second we let him out of our sights that people seem to want him to be.

My analysis here is very rough and not backed at all by any individual reading.

MurderWeasel - Tobe seems to just be posting hypotheticals that could swing in either direction. This is actually not particularly directing and is just thinking out loud, which doesn't earn town points in my view. Tobe's a pretty vocal thinker though, so this is a null read because it's no different from how he always plays.

Yugi - I actually don't buy that Yugi is scum coaching Jace or whatever. There seems to be considerations that there's some elaborate double ploy going on of making mistakes then covering mistakes (again I'm only reading rough here so I'm sure I've missed a step in the logic) but occam's razor suggests that Yugi just claimed inappropriately and people in their eagerness are attaching him and Jace together. I'm not seeing it, though I wouldn't say this exonerates Yugi by any means either.

Jace - I'm expecting Jace to flip town because I think this ploy is too loud for a newbie scum to make. That said, I'm still voting for him because there's a well of information to be had in his death.

Irina - I don't know how people can decide Irina is scum when she's just playing exactly how she played last game, where she was town. Null read.

Zetsu - Quite vocal and taking a lot of leads. Slightly townier than scummier but mostly null at this time.

Paige - Even though xe'yre pushing this scumbuddy narration I don't agree with, I'm fairly calm about Paige. Reasoning is logical if aggressive.

Everyone else - No real opinion at this point.

Yugi definitely, and maybe Paige, anyone else? Oh yeah, also Slam maybe, since he just gave a read. Talking about that, his read if Jace being "Town but info lynch" seems really off to me, like it seems to be more focused on cutting down numbers then scum hunting? But oh well, I can't argue on the questionable info lynch (I'm not exactly sure how helpful his lynch will be considering this is an easy bandwagon to jump on for scum and town alike), when I'm ON the vote. Also, outside of his comment, I don't think I'm going to give scum points to Slam because Jace is VT so an info lynch would be okay.

Yugi because he's been interacting with Jace in very interesting ways, and Paige because they've been hunting Jace and Yugi so freaking hard since day 1, I haven't read back but I think Zetsu's also been on Paige's side as well? Not sure on what you mean by Boogie though, outside of him being the earliest of Jace's bandwagoners

ngl I'm most suspicious of Irina right now exactly because she's playing so deliberately null in the immediate conflicts while setting up scum reads based on how they play out. "Jace is probably town but he's a black hole so we should kill him anyway" iis an extremely anti-town mindset, which is why I didn't flip on him until I had a reasonable doubt pointing to scum with the flavor slip up. I think we get a lot of info out of Jace for the set-up, that he's claimed a role that's not useful to us, and there's a pretty even chance he's scum, but if we're talking other options or where we go from here? A Jace Town Flip does a lot for my suspicions of Yugi, while scum or town flip from him still leaves me suspicious of Irina because she won't commit to a side. So like, I'm not opposed to swinging the vote her way when I'm seeing people say Jace isn't that scummy and he's just kinda a policy lynch for being an attention hole now. Y'all we have agency, we can point our attention wherever we want, if you think we should be talking about something else just talk about something else. If nobody follows it up, keep bringing it up until people engage. We're chatty motherfuckers up in here so it's not gonna be that hard XD

if by hunting you mean pointing out the coaching even Jace and Yugi acknowledge look bad and then strongly defending them through Day 1 into Day 2 until MW points out the flavor mismatch then sure, I'm Elmer fukn Fudd
