Appearance: Robbie is Caucasian and has long black hair that she tends to keep tied back in a high ponytail at most times. Her face is slender and delicate looking and normally features a friendly smile, made from full lips. She has large eyes that are light blue in colour, her nose is thin and straight. Her ears are small in size and aren’t pierced. Robbie typically puts a decent level of effort into her makeup everyday, normally applying toner and doing her eyelashes at a minimum and sometimes applying a light blush.
On her upper half, Robbie likes wearing coloured t-shirts or tight-fitting tank tops to show off her toned arms, which she is very proud of. These tops normally represent the teams of JEM or her own clubs. As a result of her spina bifida Robbie prefers to wear dark-colored track pants or shorts, favoring blacks, dark greys, and dark blues on her lower half for the sake of ease in her routine and comfort. On her feet, she wears simple cheap trainers, sometimes with colored designs. On the day of the abduction, Robbie was wearing a royal blue and white John Endecott Memorial Terriers t-shirt under a black Nike hoodie and dark blue gilet with a fur-lined hood. On her lower half, she had grey trackpants and a pair of pink velvet Nike Dunk lows.
Biography: Roberta Woodvine was born to John and Melissa Woodvine in Salem, Massachusetts. Upon being born Roberta was diagnosed with a severe case of open spina bifida with myelocele high on her back, while this was closed with surgery Roberta, unfortunately, suffered from paralysis in her legs as a result of the nerve damage from the condition. She also had urinary tract issues early in her childhood—a side-effect of the spina bifida—that required medications and injections to fully treat. Due to her paralysis, Roberta has been using a wheelchair her entire life. She has also had numerous visits and appointments with medical professionals regarding her condition as she was required to go through multiple evaluations by doctors of different disciplines as she grew up.
Roberta’s paralysis also put a lot of strain on John and Melissa’s relationship, as the frequent appointments with Roberta’s healthcare team combined with caring for their daughter was a source of both emotional and financial hardship. Arguments during this period were not uncommon until one day the parents of the couple intervened. This led to a long evening of discussion that convinced the pair to seek out counseling for themselves. It was at this point that Roberta’s grandparents on both sides became a more common fixture in her life as they assisted her parents in taking care of her.
The additional presence of her grandparents only helped Roberta as she grew up. She started to become more comfortable with herself and her condition thanks to her expanded support system. At the same time, she started to develop more autonomy and independence both at home and in school. When she had first, started school Roberta had struggled emotionally and socially with being confined to a wheelchair as she wanted to be able to play with other kids. It wasn't uncommon for teachers to find her crying due to other kids rushing off and not wanting to play with her. But through the support and encouragement of her grandparents, she gradually became more outgoing and stopped waiting for people to play with her and actively sought out others instead. This was at first difficult as a lot of kids would not accommodate Roberta in their games but she was persistent and friendly enough to acquire a small group of close friends who were happy to accommodate her. It was at this stage in her life that Roberta started to connect more deeply with her parents. Her mother—originally a Boston native—was a lifelong supporter of the Celtics and Red Sox and had managed to convert her husband to support them as well. This led the family to make multiple trips to Boston to watch the teams play at The Garden and Fenway Park, and while Roberta found baseball interesting and relaxing to watch, she enjoyed the excitement and motion of basketball much more.
This newfound independence and acceptance of her condition led to Roberta wanting to find an activity that she could partake in that wouldn’t be limited by her wheelchair and wheelchair basketball seemed like an obvious fit. With her parents’ help, Roberta found and signed up for a club that met up to play. While Roberta enjoyed the sport and the freedom she felt when she got to play she also found it comforting and reassuring to be surrounded by other people who had gone through the same things she was going through and the club became another social group for her to be apart of.
It was through some of the people Roberta met at wheelchair basketball that she was recommended doing weightlifting as another way to keep herself fit and healthy while also being able to feel and see tangible results when she did so and with their advice, she took up and developed an exercise routine that was suited for her. Roberta enjoys weightlifting both because she can channel any frustrations she holds into her routine for that day but she also finds it rewarding to set herself goals and beat them, which is something she considers important for herself.
Roberta’s interest in MMORPG’s came off the recommendation of a school friend who pitched them to her as a way they could hang out and explore without any confinement. Roberta was initially unsure of the suggestion as she took some issue with the way it had been phrased but was eventually coaxed into giving World of Warcraft a try while at a friend’s house. The experience was eye-opening for Roberta as she had never properly played video games where she could interact with other people before. It wasn’t long before Roberta had convinced her parents to pay for a subscription to the game and was adventuring with her friends. The social aspect of MMOs is what holds the most value for Roberta as she enjoys being able to take part in activities with her friends where they can set their own goals and hang-out while attempting to achieve them. Roberta has never been bothered by the competitive side of things or the grind of proper raiding guilds. She is much happier to soak up the experience.
Tabletop RPGs came about as a natural extension to this and for much the same reason. It is both a social experience and something that everyone can enjoy on equal ground. The sense of adventure and discovery she gets from playing a character and exploring a new world is something that never fails to excite her and Roberta has dived into both experiences deeply, being involved in multiple discord groups and chats where she can talk to others that share her passion and love for aspects of MMO’s and tabletops.
Around school, Roberta is lively and very friendly with the majority of the other students, she is also known for being very independent and as an avid fan of the JEM sports teams, rarely missing a game they play. Although, even she will admit that the teams themselves aren’t the best. She has built up a number of friendships with members of the teams and the other athletically inclined members of the JEM student body through her attendance and support at games. She hangs out with some of them around school and also is known to give pointers to people if they ask. Her favorite subject at school is English literature as she enjoys reading and analyzing various works of fiction, while her least favorite subject is math. Math is something Roberta has frequent struggles with due to the fact she is dyscalculic, a side-effect of her spina bifida. While Roberta still tries her hardest in math she frequently gets frustrated by her inability to properly understand numbers and mathematical problems, to this end she has organized a tutor for herself but still harbors a dislike of the subject.
After graduating from John Endecott Memorial Academy, Roberta would like to attend college, although she and her parents are aware that there will be difficulties involved in this process. Prior to entering JEM, Roberta had begun preparing for her transition away from her care team at the children’s hospital and into adult healthcare. Being able to live independently and be involved within a community has been a goal of Roberta’s for a long time and it was during these preparations she first voiced a desire to attend college. She, her family, and her care team have been working towards this goal and while Roberta is excited to be applying for places she is also extremely nervous about what could happen.
Advantages: Roberta is a very friendly person who should have no problem being able to make allies on the island through her personality alone. She also has a pre-existing group of allies in the form of her tabletop group who could help her on the island. Additionally, she has deceptively strong arms thanks to her weightlifting which could catch people off-guard if they try to get physical with her.
Disadvantages: Roberta is confined to a wheelchair as a result of her condition, this will be a hindrance in her ability to navigate the island, escape from danger and defend herself without assistance among other issues. If her wheelchair is damaged or lost she will be almost completely unable to move around the island without the help of another person.

Me and you have done this before this version and so just a bit of a review and a run-down: everything said here is said with the idea of getting the best version of Robbie into pre-game and later into the game proper, I may point out things in subsequent reviews that I miss in this initial one and any picked nits are done in the name of quality control rather than creating obstacles or barriers for you!
So, let us get to cracking and start from the top and work our way to the bottom.
Hobbies & Interests
These all look good, there is a small issue with Dungeons and Dragons. My research indicates that when referring to the specific TTRPG that it is Dungeons & Dragons or D&D. This is important because it is a proper noun. With this being said, because you have her liking MMORPGs in general as opposed to any in specific (at least within hobbies and interests) …I think you might gain some bang for your buck in just putting TTRPGs here as opposed to just D&D. No need to pigeonhole her to one dice game in specific. That’s up to you and at your discretion.
Appearance
Clear, complete and concise. The one thing that I would like expansion on is color. We get that she wears make-up and that she wears tracksuits and sort of athleisure, but we get no mention of the type of colors she prefers and that creates some difficulty in getting a clear picture of Robbie. I would like for an abduction outfit to be mentioned here as I think we do gain a stronger image with specificity, but I will once again leave that up to you. At the bare minimum I would like an idea of the colors in regard to outfits and the type of make-up Robbie tends to gravitate towards.

I like a lot of what we have here in concern to painting a picture of Robbie’s homelife and in concern to grammar stuff, there was nothing egregious that popped up in my reading. With that being said, I would like you to give this another read through and specifically do so aloud as to make sure your flow is concise and cohesive and easy to digest. I always think that a work benefits from this and I think Robbie will as well. Reread your stuff out loud to yourself! Don’t cheat! I won't know if you do but it will hurt my feelings.
With that being said, while we have a good picture of Robbie’s early life and the trials and tribulations of her medical needs along with the domestic disputes of her parents—what we gain very little insight to and knowledge of in terms of content is her early years beyond her feeling isolated. I would like an expansion on those early years from a para-social standpoint, either expanding upon isolation or showing more concrete examples of alienation or accommodation. Since Robbie is differently abled, we want to handle her story with completeness and respect. In this respect, I think more detail is beneficial than less. I would like a clearer picture of Robbie’s elementary school and early childhood education and friendships (or lack thereof, whichever direction you decide).
Overall, I think this biography was good in showing Robbie’s familial dynamics and her journey in concerns to living with being confined to a wheelchair along with illustrating her desire for independence in conflict with her circumstance. I think having that concept be at the front and center of where we end the bio is good. Let's focus on where we begin and how we get to this point. What I would like more is clearer illustrations and characterizations of her interpersonal dynamics and experiences, mostly in the name of granting a fullness of image and a humanization of concept. How Robbie sees herself in relation and contrast to how she sees others viewing her. Let us have a consistent thread and influence of others outside her home and more specific in relation to her peers. I think exploring her relationship with other athletes and giving more detail to her JEM sports fandom and the social ramifications and connections of that is a good direction.
