everyone here is inspired by a track on fizz's "the secret to life" and i usually base my ocs off of music i enjoy. if i end up going to v10 y'all should be worried!

NOTE: Lilliana's Paiute name is "Pamahas", but she goes by Lilliana in public.
Liliana has never asked for much in life. Really, she doesn’t see the point in hoping, rather than just seeing what life wants to bring in the moment. Whatever fate has planned for her, she’ll accept happily. Unfortunately, it is hard to keep this rhetoric when you feel as though nothing seems to be going your way. Her grades have been okay, nothing too spectacular, but her problem tends to be with extracurriculars. She has tried absolutely everything, and either she couldn’t get into the topic at hand or she never clicked with the people behind them. It’s been difficult, since everyone is about to go to college. Lilliana has no idea what she’s going to do when she grows up, what she’s going to major in, and she’s kicking herself for thinking that maybe she did all of this a bit too late.
The one thing that Lilliana is happy to have more than anything in her life is her friend group. She grew up around the idea of having that community, so having people by her side that are willing to listen to her complaints (they’ve been bad this year, the amount of ice cream and crying nights between her group are so bad) is something that she values more than anything else in her life. She knows it’s all going to work out, she’s just waiting for everything to click into place so she won’t have to worry anymore.
Typical Crowd: Lilliana is a social butterfly of sorts, as she’s come into contact with so many people throughout her experiences. While she’s only with a tight-knit few out of the group, she thinks that she does a good job of getting people together that usually wouldn’t talk.

Inspiration: Hell Of A Ride- FIZZ
"The world is on fire, so baby, pass me a lighter!"
Yusup never liked Southwest. He’s been around here since he was born, and to say he’s become a quick pessimist is probably the biggest understatement that somebody could make. It’s not even that something bad has happened in his life. He has parents that clearly care for him, a little sister that he would murder a man for, it’s just that….he struggles. He never knew where it was, but in terms of learning capabilities, he always seemed to lag behind everyone else in some way. His parents, god bless them, tried helping in any way they could, but tutors don’t really like when people snap at them out of their frustration. Yusup knows that it’s not their fault. He really only wants to blame himself. But, when you’re in a school that is preparing you for college and you’ve been told that you may not even get a diploma, it takes a toll on you. At some point, you come to acknowledge that maybe you’re not destined for anything good.
He finds it hard to open up to other people, just because he has a lot of shit running through his head and he doesn’t want to put that on somebody else’s shoulders. As such, the few people that he does get along with only seem to know him on the surface level. Even if he tends to bottle up his emotions, getting to know him does lead to a more sarcastic and comical man rather than one that seems to be on the verge of blowing a casket.
Typical Crowd: Unfortunately has more enemies than he does friends due to his hot-headedness. Has two major clubs he’s apart of, horror club which….in hindsight, not what he thought it was going to be (the amount of theatre kids, did you know they tried making him try out at some point?), but he likes watching the idiots be idiots. The only people who have ever seen him soft are the other members of cooking club.

Inspiration: You, Me, Lonely- FIZZ
"Counting the grey hairs on your head, and I got scared."
Ga-eul was raised by a single mother, and was homeschooled for a large majority of her life. As a result, she has gained a strong connection to her mother, as the two of them tend to rely on each other. Unfortunately, this has led to a bit of attachment issues due to such a strong connection. Her mother took her to Southwest in sophomore year once she realized she couldn’t continue pushing her daughter’s education, and she broke down bawling in fear of a world that she wasn’t acquainted with. Of course, having such a strong reaction as a first reaction would get a few weird looks. But, that’s just what has to come after being closeted off for so long, you tend to get scared on how to act. Not that she was locked in a bubble or anything, but being in a new environment for so long is a terrifying prospect. As a result, Ga-eul’s time at Southwest has been spent trying to get out of her shell and make friends. A slow process, but she wants to be ready for the world once she manages to get to college. She doesn’t want a repeat.
A few years later, the process is…a lot slower than she thought. But, she has made a move and decided to join the cross country team. Whether that’s going to end up being a good idea or not, she really is not sure, but she seems to be having fun. Even if she’s clearly not the best and she’s not going to make varsity, it’s fun! “Another thing to add to her transcript” is what one of her teammates always tells her.
Typical Crowd: She’s still looking for it! It’ll happen….eventually….she just needs time.

Inspiration: I Just Died- FIZZ
"God, I'm such a fool."
If someone were to describe Lopaka, the first thing that they would say about him is “living ball of sunshine”. And, hell, it really does have some truth to it. The bigger and studly man from the wrestling team has entered a broship with his fellow team members from the moment he got onto it. Hell, that really has stemmed out into being the average happy and eccentric man that you will see in the halls. So, he would hope that most of the popular crowd would end up liking him, or maybe he is one of the popular ones himself. Well, he gets along well with the football crowd at least. The negatives that tend to come from Lopaka’s brewing happiness and ever-so-cliche bro-ness is that he has trouble when it comes to two things. The first thing is with finding boundaries, as those seem to get broken extremely quickly. The moment he sees someone, he wants to wrap an arm around them, and that doesn’t always blend well with those who don’t want to associate with those who are loud and proud. The second is that he has problems with social cues, and as such, can’t take a hint and sometimes makes people uncomfortable without knowing. But, he wants to think it’s all from good fun. The third is that he sees the best in a lot of people, which sometimes backfires on him. As such, he has had a few relationships over the years, and things haven’t ended up working out for one of the three aforementioned reasons.
Lopaka is originally from Hawai’i (indigenous), having moved to Las Vegas around middle school. He has a lot of ties with his native culture and tends to incorporate it in his daily lifestyle, notably with his outfits. If there’s one thing he’ll find himself never letting go of, it’s the love for his home.
Typical Crowd: Any of the major athletic teams, you’ll probably see Lopaka hanging out with! Even though he strictly does wrestling, he’s cool with the football team in particular.

Inspiration: Close One- FIZZ
"Guess we dodged another bullet."
The one thing that you will never take from Kiandra is how comfortable she feels in her own body. She almost walks around looking for attention, wearing flashy colors, using those old Tamagotchis you would never see around anymore, having pairs of heels that genuinely look IMPOSSIBLE to walk with. She’s naturally expressive. It’s not something that she tries to do for attention, or to catch somebody’s eye, god knows she doesn’t want a man looking at her. She does it for herself, because her own support is all that she needs. Hell, making it through her gender transition didn’t exactly garner positive attention from everyone. But, for those who did tend to fall in love with her and become her friend, she’ll be sure to spoil them however she can! Seriously, if you need somebody to defend you at your lowest, Kiandra is the girl to go to. She keeps it real with everyone. This sometimes leads to her being perceived as brutally honest, which is probably true, but she says “what other way is there to be honest, darling?”
She wants to join the yearbook committee SO BAD, like she’s somehow never gotten around to it, but now that she’s living her best life…..anything’s possible! The yearbook deserves a beautiful touch of fashion that only she would be able to give.
Typical Crowd: She just joined yearbook so we’re going to see how that’s going to go. Really, she’s the type of person to strike up a conversation with anyone she sees as interesting; even the people who really aren’t appreciated socially. She likes who she likes!

NOTE: Celestino goes by “Les”.
Okay, let’s just get the cat out of the bag. No, Les did not lose his arm from a freak accident, he just came out of his mom without it and he had to gain a prosthetic from there. Les often likes to describe himself as “woodstock victim reborn”, and god does he emulate that principle. His outfit resembles what one would describe rainbow vomit, his hair is messed up and all over the place, and his arm is laced with a ribbon. He has a very “it is what is is” response to almost everything that happens in his life. It emulates Lilliana’s idea that fate has a certain pathway already decided for him, but he doesn’t try to stray off of that path. Instead, the bad things just happen, and there’s really nothing else that he can get out of it. This personality has ended up getting him very mixed reactions from his classmates. Some people love how he’s the one to come to if they want to be calm and chill, others think he can be unnecessarily positive in some situations- to the point where it’s annoying. But, as Les said before, people interpret him the way that they do. The people that want to be vibing with him get to vibe.
So, where would someone like him end up in terms of Southwest? Of course, it would be the bowling team. It just has the vibe that he aspires to, it’s nothing too competitive and he has some sort of natural born talent…maybe not that far, but that’s how he always likes to describe it as.
Typical Crowd: One thing that he admires more than anything is music. He can’t sing, and he can’t play an instrument, but god does he love losing himself in music. You’ll typically see him in the crowd for any of the local bands (he loves Mercy Myers + Bleak Brigade you have no idea). Besides that, he just talks to anyone he sees fit, living in his own world.
