Appearance: Annabelle is 5'5" and weighs 154 pounds, with a slightly plump and non-muscular build. She is Caucasian, with pale skin, a large nose, and hazel brown eyes. Her hair is all gray, and naturally very curly, forming natural ringlets. She is usually seen with a resting frown when not teaching, but always has a smile in front of the class, and has a very slight hunch to her back. At school, she is usually seen wearing long, loose-fitting, bright dresses with floral patterns, along with thick-rimmed and thick-lens glasses and worn dress shoes. She is never seen without her hanging jade earrings and genuine pearl necklace, both heirlooms passed down from her mother and grandmother.

Biography/Personality: Ms. Holland was born in the United States during the 1960s, growing up in the wake of the Civil Rights movement and during the Vietnam War. Due to these experiences along with her parents being both pro-Civil Rights and anti-war, she felt sympathy for and identified with the burgeoning hippy movement, and has ever since remained highly socially progressive. Once she began attending college, she developed a fascination for history and sociology, and desired to become a teacher to pass down what she learned to the next generations. After obtaining her degree and teaching license, Mrs. Holland married another teacher she met at her first school, Mr. Holland, and the two of them built a life together, having and raising three children to adulthood. Tragically, Ms. Holland was widowed after her husband died at the age of 53 from a surprise aneurysm, after which she ended up moving to Las Vegas, and taking up a new teaching position at Red Rock, where she has remained ever since. While still mourning her husband's death years later, Ms. Holland is known for being optimistic, kind, and helpful by the student body, and is generally well-liked.
