Londyn Mueller

#1

Post by EllisWilson »

Name: Londyn Mueller
Gender: Nonbinary (They/Them. Born male)
Age: 17
Grade: 12th
School: Southwest Red Rock High School
Hobbies and Interests: Online Trends/Challenges, gaming, TikTok, dancing, filming, DIY Crafts, furry fandom

Appearance: Londyn is 5’6 and 130 lbs, giving them a slim, rectangular body type, with a minor amount of musculature in their arms and legs. They are Caucasian with a fair skin tone.
Londyns hair is a chestnut brown color, typically grown out long enough to put into a ‘wet mop’ style, with their eyes also being brown with a rounded shape under a pair of thin eyebrows. Due to nearsightedness, Londyn wears a pair of red, circular prescription glasses. They have a button nose with freckles that cover their nasal bridge as well as their cheeks. They have dimples, which are almost always noticeable since Londyn makes a point of smiling as much as they possibly can, which, due to an overbite, also shows off Londyns braces. Their voice is quite high and reedy, and they are prone to acting in an overly energetic fashion usually speaking loudly and gesticulating in odd ways that don’t always make sense in context

Londyns sense of style is heavily influenced by the VSCO aesthetic, consisting of ripped jeans, jean shorts, sweatpants, hoodies, oversized shirts, sweatshirts, and crop tops, though the latter is only worn on overcast days. Additionally, Londyn has also recently taken to shaving whatever scant body and facial hair they grow off as often as they can, as well as applying foundation to their face and polish to their nails.

This is the extent of their physical upkeep, however, as recently Londyn has been neglecting their personal hygiene, resulting in a distinctly unpleasant body odor and a generally unwashed appearance. Additionally, due to a recent accident, Londyns left wrist is in a white plaster cast which completely restricts their thumb.

Biography: Londyn Mueller was born on December 30th, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Darien and Naria Mueller, a successful stock broker and successful real estate agent respectively. Londyn is the couple's second child, being born four years after the oldest son, Lio. Darien and Naria met in college, with them getting married after a brief fling left Naria pregnant. While not exceptionally affectionate, Londyns early upbringing was one of luxury, their parents high paying but extremely demanding jobs providing a firmly upper class lifestyle where Londyn was heavily spoiled, expensive gifts and superficial praise being used as a make good for the Muellers otherwise fleeting presence in their children's lives.

This parenting style had a clear impact on Londyns personality going into elementary school, with Londyn frequently becoming agitated and throwing tantrums when their peers or teachers didn’t immediately capitulate to their will. The result of this would be a lack of friends at school and semi-frequent calls home to their parents, though neither Darien nor Naria would do anything but pay lip service to this, and the actual incidents never escalated past childish sulking at this time, so nothing more was done about it. Londyns grades, on the other hand, were consistently on the low end of the class average, prompting concerns from Londyns parents that would result in Londyn receiving tutoring, to mixed results.

Outside of that, none of this had much of an impact on Londyns home life, as they continued to live a pampered existence, being rewarded for the bare minimum and receiving little to no criticism, scolding, or punishment for poor behaviour. However, the actual reason for this is more so due to disinterest on the part of Londyns parents, who would stay focused on themselves for the most part, feeling that, since Lio was already well adjusted, Londyn would simply follow suit regardless of how much effort they put in. As such, they would offer little in the way of emotional support, defaulting to generic, shallow praise regardless of the actual context, usually followed by sticking an Ipad in front of Londyns face to keep them occupied.

Londyn, being ignorant of their parents' apathy, would gladly spend hours on Youtube, watching popular content creators like Smosh, PewDiePie, and Shane Dawson. Another Youtuber Londyn would find joy in watching would also be their older brother Lio, who started a channel in their first year of high school and would occasionally involve Londyn in videos as well, mostly in the form of playing video games with them. Londyn would always be excited to watch these videos back and see themselves, very quickly getting the idea to start their own channel, TheLondyn_Lad, in the summer before they started middle school.

Middle school for Londyn was defined more by their burgeoning attempts to grow their Youtube channel than anything related to their social standing or grades, both of which remained low throughout the year. Instead, Londyn would be near constantly filming themselves both at home and, to a lesser extent, at school as well. These videos were generally quite amateurish and consisted of little else but Londyn talking to their phone and recording themselves playing video games like their brother. For his part, Lio freely offered advice to Londyn when prompted, with Londyn considering Lio their closested friend for this reason alone, as opposed to the deeper bond Lio perceived it as. On their parents' part, Darien remained emotionally unavailable while Naria, following a bout of pneumonia that left her stuck at home for much of Londyns first middle school year, would find more time to engage with her children. One thing that she and Londyn would find a mutual interest in is DIY crafts, something Londyn took to with great enthusiasm both as another avenue of praise and as a means of spending more time with their mother.

This hobby would also find its way onto TheLondyn_Lad, as would any of the other, more fleeting, interests that Londyn developed and went through as a consequence of their focus on online trends, following whichever youtubers were biggest at the time and seeing what they were doing, shifting their attention to the likes of Team 10 and The Dolan Twins. It was through the former that Londyn got the idea to ‘prank’ one of their classmates by making a foul smelling slime and trying to dump it in their backpack during class while recording it. This classmate was one Gemini Jones, who caught Londyn in the act. She reacted poorly, insulting Londyn in a way that caused Londyn to devolve into an aggressive tantrum that ended with them being sent to the principal's office.

When Londyns parents were called, Londyn was shocked when it was agreed that Londyn would be put on one week of in school suspension, finding the punishment completely unreasonable despite the reasoning being clearly explained to them. This led to Londyn getting into their first real argument with their parents, escalating to a screaming match where Londyn would level wild accusations at the two, somehow concluding that they were abusive for not fighting the suspension, causing the latter great distress and the former to snap at and ground Londyn for the rest of the month. Wallowing in what they considered an unjust situation, Londyn buried themselves further in their online persona, using the time to create accounts on Twitter, Discord, Snapchat, and TikTok. Londyn would become incredibly reliant on TikTok especially during this period, watching and creating videos during whatever time wasn’t spent doing schoolwork, DIY crafts, or playing video games while stuck in their room. Once the grounding ended, The Muellers would not bring it up again, in large part due to the stress of it causing Naria to become physically ill for a brief period.

During this time, Londyn began to become frustrated with their lack of online success, which soon became a general frustration about their lack of friends, an issue compounded by Lio moving to Los Angeles, California to join a team of modestly successful content creators called Team ST3R. Londyn followed this group even more obsessively than usual out of a perceived betrayal on the part of Lio, enviously watching as their brothers fanbase grew while theirs remained at a scant twenty subscribers despite near constant uploads.

Something else Londyn took away from following this group was an interest in VoxFoxTrot, a member of Team ST3R known for their animations centering around anthropomorphic animals, something which Londyn found an unexpected interest in due to the character designs and from feeling a bizarre kinship with the animator for their stated struggles with their gender identity. This prompted Londyn to dive into the furry fandom, eventually creating a fox fursona similar to VoxFoxTrot.

None of this helped Londyns situation once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, as Naria caught the virus and, due to her history of health issues, would suffer greatly from the disease. She would be taken to hospital and treated throughout the lockdown that followed, however, this sickness would ultimately end her life. This would cause immense grief in the family, especially for Darien, who was so devastated that he would go into an early retirement out of sheer grief.

Londyn’s grief, while appropriate for the situation, was undercut when, on the same day that they received news of their mothers passing, they uploaded a video of themselves discussing it, to the point of intentionally making themselves cry harder for the camera. While Darien was unaware of this due to not following his kids online profiles, Lio was disgusted by this and took their younger sibling to task over the phone. This led to the two having a falling out when Lio accused them of not actually caring about their mothers death. Londyn would counter by accusing Lio of being mad that he didn’t get to do it first, resulting in Lio immediately cutting off contact with Londyn and Londyn making another video reiterating their accusation at Lio, painting themselves as the victim in the situation and becoming furious when this still didn’t result in a noticeable uptick in viewership

Following the end of the lockdown, Londyn would start high school taking a hiatus from their online persona, primarily due to grief over their mothers death and over the collapse of their relationship with Lio. With Darien incapacitated by his own grief, this left Londyn drifting aimlessly through the first half of their freshman year at Southwest Red Rock, lacking any real support and by now completely unwilling to engage with people beyond the bare minimum required. It was only after this point that Londyn began to examine their relationship with the world around them, devastating themselves with the idea that no one actually cares about them. However, the depression they felt at this quickly gave way to outright hatred of the fact, and of the people Londyn perceived as being responsible for it.

Londyn came to the conclusion that the majority of people were just jealous of them, or had something wrong with them, to not fawn over them the way they want them too, so Londyn began to disregard anyone they deemed a ‘hater’ in pursuit of shutting out any and all negative feedback. While this did help Londyn become more social– as they gradually lost what few inhibitions they did have– it was also this mindset that caused Londyn to act more maliciously, taking spiteful pleasure in the idea of their classmates getting hurt or failing at their goals. At the same time, they present a painfully cheerful attitude at almost all times, even when obviously angry or otherwise in emotional distress. This, combined with a noticeable degeneration in Londyns personal hygiene, has attracted very few people to their orbit. This change in attitude also resulted in Londyn coming out of their hiatus regarding their online platform, doubling their efforts to go viral.

Academics wise, Londyn is on the low side of average, rarely ever earning anything higher than a B on tests or assignments. Their best class and favourite class is Art, as they possess enough working knowledge to consistently avoid pitfalls, while their worst and least favourite class is English, primarily due to chaffing under Mrs. Donner's teaching style.

Londyn has recently begun questioning their gender identity. Currently, they have decided to identify as non-binary, and will aggressively correct others if they don’t get their pronouns right.

Out of a need for an extracurricular, Londyn signed up to be Red Rocks mascot, Ronnie the Rattlesnake, mostly due to their existing desire to draw attention themselves. As a direct consequence of this, Londyn has also begun regularly practicing dancing, an activity they also record and publish to their Youtube channel and Tiktok. It was during one of these videos that Londyn attempted to film themselves performing a dance move on the railing of their home's stairwell, resulting in a nasty fall that would leave their wrist in a cast.

Darien had a muted response to this incident, which has become the trend at the Mueller household. Darien has still failed to move on from his grief over Narias death, a fact that makes Londyn uncomfortable. As such, the two have little interaction. This is also true for Londyns relationship with Lio, as, while Lio has tried to reconcile with Londyn at various points, Londyn has remained adamant in their newfound hatred of their older brother, blaming them entirely for ruining their relationship while still consistently watching his videos, if only to steal idea from both him and the rest of Team ST3R.

Londyns own online presence remains middling at best, as they have had next to know growth over their high school tenure, aside from a few minor hits on Tiktok concerning videos of them dancing in the Ronnie the Rattlesnake mascot costume. Nevertheless, Londyn remains convinced that their big break is out there and fully intends to continue their pursuit of it in college, having applied to several film making courses, mostly due to seeing them as a means of improving their video quality.

Advantages: Londyn’s dancing has provided them with a noticeable stamina boost. Their interest in DIY crafts may allow them to make creative use of objects on the island. Londyn has a profound lack of empathy for their peers, which may help them avoid the psychological pitfalls common to participants.
Disadvantages: Londyns repellent personality, lack of common sense, and poor hygiene make them an unappealing ally among their peers, something they are unlikely to be able to acknowledge no matter what happens. Londyn is going into the game with an injured wrist, which also happens to be the one attached to their dominant hand, which will certainly leave them hamstrung in physical altercations.
