i'm fuzzy on the lore since most of my play is in the first X-Com but I think there's ADVENT hybrids and some human-esque propaganda people who might be clones or something? i don't remember but yeah this more or less scans, there are at least human adjacent people in the fold and the fluff at the beginning talks about the bond between humanity and the Elders.

thinking about it yeah it makes the most sense if like jace is third party and didn't read the OP, and thus his role PM didnt give him any idea of which faction was which

I am a Townie but if y'all wanna have a failure of a round by lynching me for fucking around go ahead. I'd be disappointed to lose the chance to take part in the game now that I know how to analyze and actually participate but idk how my joking around is worse than other people's lmao.

Also, I was under the impression that aliens are bad and humans are bad in the context of this game, and was making references to the Push The Button jackbox.tv. I also have never played Xcom and didn't care to educate myself bc my role text was green so I figured that was all I needed.

I will confirm that I know the aliens are town and XCOM are the scum and I was meming earlier.

Nvm the picture looked like a human, I just read my role pm again and I just realised it was actually an alien. My bad for not paying attention lmao. Like I said I was just looking at the green text.

And that Blizzard and Jace are the big suspects because they took it seriously? Big braining, I applaud Cactus

Nah just a couple things really that caused me alot of misunderstandings in game. Like I said if y'all wanna mislynch on the first round go ahead, idk why I would be ever trusted with a mafia role when I already have no idea what I'm doing lol

roles are random so theres no reason you couldnt be scum jace

Okay well like I said in my previous posts, I saw green text and a human shaped person in my role pm with a gun, and I am unfamiliar with XCOM, so bc I did not read the OP or the message PM in full, I mistakenly thought I was human and that humans are good. Whatever the case is in reality, that's what I thought. Then when you guys started pointing the finger at me, I went back and I read my PM and I realised that human shaped person is an alien and is in fact the good guy, not the bad guy.

There. That's the truth, and that's all you're getting lmao there isn't really that much to defend here. If you wanna mislynch, go for it.

I can't quote my role pm obviously but what I can say now that I have read it, I am a Townie, aka an advent trooper, whatever that is. There. Peace.

anyway i agree with paige, i didnt read a goddamn thing and i also just saw the picture in my role pm and would have assumed it was human because it looked humanoid, i didnt read anything because this isnt a reading site

ironically Jace's defense that he's town is doing a lot more to convince me he's scum than anything the opposition is putting down. it's the sweaty oh shit i'm caught reaction we got out of both boogie and dodd that had me screaming from the afterlife last game. and since he's claiming townie I'm not super opposed to taking a flyer on him but all that being said I'm thinking Jace is probably more frustrated newbie than flustered scum and i'm very suspicious of boogie's push here, there were a lot of jokes being thrown around about humans/aliens and jace's don't look anymore suspicious to me than the others.
