I don't really have much for say for a Day 1 Lynch as we don't really have enough information so far. So its a bit hard to do anything at the moment. Even if there are votes, I don't know. Bare with me, guys. I'm still trying to get back into the mindset of things.

Suddenly, I have a rather bad feeling about MS and his new excitability. Like Grim said, this could really be a deep scum game, but I haven't played a lot if mafia so I have little clue as to the track record of peoplr who push for lynches on day 1. Say, how big do you think the scum faction is? At first I mean, role switching in this game is a distinct possibility, but unlikely if the game's gonna be more "not bastard" this time around.

Like town becoming mafia and mafia becoming town between days? I agree that sounds like a headache and distinctively bastardy so I hope that isn't in this.

Anyway I'm fine with piling votes onto boogie and MS until something happens. Death to silliness.

I think it's a safe bet that role switching won't be present since bastard elements are explicitly a non entity unless fenris is lying to us.

That said I'm unsure about the track record/standard for how much scum is usually present in a game this size.

Also, for the record, I UNVOTED DEAMON a few pages back, though I can understand why you might have missed that in this hot mess.

Current thoughts about MS: seems to be acting overly excitable and lynch-happy, but they have a point that we ought to lynch someone. Might be a Mafia trying to drive off suspicion by being so out-there that nobody suspects them, but my money’s on them being the Mayor instead.

Eh, whatever, I’ll VOTE: METHODICALSLACKER. At the very least, if the pressure’s on, maybe we’ll get a roleclaim.

Typically scum size is 1/4 of the playercount, which calculates to 4.5 with 18 of us. Rounding down to 4 seems the most likely, and maybe there's some anti-town third party like a serial killer running around too.

I'm here for the MS lynch given that 1) he's a gotdamn huckster and 2) it is very funny to me to kill him before he gets that sweet sweet mafia post count boost

Not to dwell on roles but typical SOTF tends to see SK's so I wouldn't be shocked if there turned out to be one.

I'd also second Deamon's concern about the existence of an SK. Given both the flavor and past games, it seems likely. I also have some baseless speculation about the formation of the teams; my guess is that we're probably looking at a single three-person scum team (ensures a minimum 4 day game, and that assumes the existence of multiple kill roles regardless of alignment, as well as a few mislynches). I do not think we're looking at a game with more than 1 scum team, but am not ruling out the existence of an SK, a vig, or an arsonist.

There is at least one Mafia group in this game with at least two members, and no more than 2 such groups, and no more than one Serial Killer.
