Willow smiled. The stun gun, as much as she hated its name, was going to be hers. She just had to watch Sierra sleep, and then she'd have her gift. The only thing she needed on the island was this tiny electricity bar that would let incapacitate people and then never have to think about them again.
Willow closed the window. Kelly really had left them just like that, and Sierra still didn't want her to insult the girl. It was odd, but also understandable, Sierra still had strings attached to her classmates. It wasn't something that Willow couldn't relate to, but she just didn't want to understand it. Willow just wanted to get the game over it, whether she died or lived, she just wanted it to end.
Interestingly enough, the house contained many things. A book was left untouched on a table, and the dust around it became evident to Willow. She dragged her finger across the cover, revealing the name of the author. On the brown leather book was written the golden inscription "Robert Ardrey". She didn't know who it was, but she did want to read it. Willow had nothing to do for the next few hours.
The book was written in 1961. This artifact was older than her parents. It intrigued her more. She smiled, grabbed it and pulled out a chair. African genesis; a personal investigation into the animal origins and nature of man would be her friend during the night. She didn't know why this book ended up here for Willow to read, but she was glad she had found it.
((Willow continued somewhere else.))
