Kilmarnock
Oliver
Yugikun
Paige
Buko
Jace
Burnitup

And their songs, also in no particular order:

No one is ever going to want me - Giles Corey
"The song draws on the classic concept of "The Hedgehog's Dilemma", where the singer feels desperately lonely but at the same time is aware that his defences against getting hurt by others is actively sabotaging his ability to create and maintain healthy relationships. The "Bridge of Sighs" is reference to the Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice, a bridge leading to the city's prison, giving convicts one last chance to view the beauty of the city before being cut off from it forever. The singer realizes that his growing bitterness is pushing him further and further away from the human connection that he seems to see other people enjoying, but at the same time cannot help but slip further into loneliness and despair."
24 - Red House Painters
The Simplest Thing - Hey Rosetta
"This song is about loving someone suffering from depression. Always got to me as someone who's been on both sides of that relationship at various points."
Jonathan Coulton - When You Go
"Somethings, just saying 'goodbye' is the hardest thing you'll ever have to do."
Way to Fall - Starsailor
It's Quiet Uptown - Hamilton
Rhodondite and Grief - La Dispute
i wrote this song 4 u - LiL BO WEEP
The Arbor - The Twilight Sad
This is one of the songs off of the album that The Twilight Sad wrote in part for/dedicated to Scott Hutchison (from the band Frightened Rabbit), who killed himself in 2018. They were close friends.
Hi Life - UGK
"This song we played at my friend's funeral. Always makes me tear up and think of my buddy"
Go Home - Julien Baker
Gavi's Song - Lindsey Stirling
Voting runs same time as last round and thus will close at 11:59 PST on Dec 17th, 2019

The last two songs were this sad:

Image

Both of these songs were inhabitants of round 1.

In round 1, one of these songs was the round's winner. The other was 5th place, but now rests in the top two of the whole ordeal.

These two songs are:

The Enigma - Eric Bogle, submitted by Murderweasel and
Lazarus - David Bowie, submitted by Laurels.

Each of these songs scored at least FOUR 12s apiece, and when all was said and done, there was a 10-point spread between them.

...

So I guess it's time to reveal the winner, huh?

Lazarus - David Bowie, submitted by Laurels, netted a respectable 97 points and earned four 12s, a 10 and an 8.
