Katelyn perked up when Hades mentioned the movie. If the cat ears on her hood were real, they'd be pointing straight up and at attention.
"H-Happy Death Day?! I love that movie!"
Katelyn bounced in place, her hands held out in front of her and curled into fists at the excitement.
"It's s-so cool!" she chirped, "it's like Groundhog Day except with murder!"
Sometimes she worried that she sounded a bit too eager when she mentioned anything morbid. She knew that some people might get the wrong idea about her based off of that, and think that she was some kind of serial killer that was waiting for the right moment to snap. She didn't want anyone around her to get hurt though, even if she did go so far as to watch that footage of Survival of the Fittest and hang out with all those weirdos that also watched it. She was just kinda edgy and her thoughts were often dark was all, but at least she probably didn't have to worry about that with Hades. She was pretty sure that he understood her.
"B-But it's also so much more than that," she continued, the excitement in her voice growing with each word. "It's also super well-written, with a l-lot of really good jokes and character development, and also the plot's super interesting and plays w-with expectations, and also th-there's this really cool twist and, wait actually I probably shouldn't have spoiled that there's a t-twist, but still it's really cool and-"
((Katelyn continued talking for quite a while, with Hades happily listening. When it came time for the lunch period to end, both of them would leave the lunch room together.))
