Tenshi was about to explain (gently, of course! ever so sensitively gentle) that the last thing you should do when confront with a person who is hard of hearing asking you to repeat yourself was yell.

"Oh, well," she repeated, a bit of an chuckle in her voice (she wasn't terribly amused), "first of all," she began, raising her hands to repeat the signs she made, with explanation.

The position of her fingers jolted out of whack as her gaze (more of a stare) snapped to the onlooker who clearly couldn't mind his own business. Was he a fucking library assistant? He looked like he was expecting to see flying bras and hearing shaking bookshelves.

"Do you mind?" she hisswhispered back.

"Hm, alright," he grunted back. "I thought I heard a crash."

Well, whatever. It didn't look like they fought or pushed down a shelf.

The head disappeared from the view and Spike minded his own business again.

The other boy went back to ignoring them, leaving Ellis to feel awkward for his social fuckup with this deaf girl.

He needed to leave. He had a stupid paper to work on, so that at least made a good excuse.

"Uh, I got to go. Have a nice day," he said, taking his book and walking away.

Well, that was a disaster. Maybe reading about bees would help him forget about his faux pas.

And off he fucked!

What a waste.

(Another guy would come along. Tenshi just had the aura.)
