The emergency blanket crinkled when Adam turned his head to the voice sounding from the door. The sea creature he had dreamed into existence just seconds ago sounded much friendlier than he had expected. Except that it wasn’t that. Those monsters churned somewhere in the ley line beneath them, maybe around them. He quickly recognized Medea. A sweet girl, really. He lowered his feet from where he had propped them up and his left leg was bouncing but stopped just after a moment. A pool cue lay just right behind his bag, specks of dried blood adorning it and the ground if you looked closely.

Adam quickly slipped the list back into his bag while he kept his eyes on her.

“Me?” The blanket slid off of his shoulders. Please keep asking. He noted the other voices from outside. ”I almost lost my leg...” He sighed, exaggerated, his voice grasping to any sort of sincerity while he showed off the bandage.

She didn’t need to know that it was just a small cut.

"Do you wanna come in and enjoy the view with me?"

((Skipping to avoid inactivity!))

Dave knew that he had just got permission to look into the plane, but staring at it had made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He was pretty sure that he could see some red on the outside of it. How had he not noticed that before? Was it.... blood? His insides did a flip-flop and he almost felt like he was going to throw up.

He didn't want to be at this place anymore.

"Uh.... actually, I changed my mind." He grumbled softly while taking a few steps backwards and he couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of the red that he was staring at. "I'm gonna look elsewhere. Bye."

And with that, he bolted like a bat out of hell.

That blood couldn't have come from him.

June shadowed the newcomer to make sure he wouldn't try to pull anything, and she caught a glimpse of Adam's bandage. There was barely any stain of red on it. And yet, he seemed so calm and at ease with where he was.

So, if the blood didn't come from him,

"Medea, he's right, this is bad news."

The newcomer ran, and so did she, pulling at her friend's arm the whole while.

Medea blinked as the newcomer said he didn’t want to look anymore. She turned her attention to him as he ran off before she could say anything.

"Medea, he's right, this is bad news."

“Huh- Wait, June, we-”

Before she could protest further, her friend began to run pulling her along. Medea stumbled surprised, stuttering out a string of words that weren’t quite a coherent sentence. She was pulled away from… danger? She didn’t feel like she was. As she was pulled away by her friend and she stumbled across the rocks, she looked back towards the plane, feeling disappointed she didn’t get to poke around it some more… And worry for the boy that was inside.

“Wait...!!”

Adam’s body moved up, then he stood still. The desperation in his voice, he swallowed it back.

“....Fuck,” he hissed through clenched teeth.

The contrast between the noisy before and the quiet now was gnawing on him.

Adam slumped back in the seat and threw all the things he had gotten out of his bag back inside it, zipped it up real good. He took the newly acquired pool cue too, then allowed himself to look back at the open water again. It didn’t last long.

((Adam continued elsewhere))

With everyone else already running off. Andrew grumbled to himself and wandered from the shore, alone once again.
