Hopefully I can shed some light on this. I remember that last vote to Boogie being at a time where town was still split on a vote with Boogie in the lead (Skraal had maybe 1, POSSIBLY 2 votes but more likely 1), there were only a few hours left in the phase, and I was about to start an afternoon-to-late-night shift that would keep me out until the phase end. I didn't want the day to end in a no-vote, so I put my vote back on the most likely choice for the time (and Skraal turned out to be a terrible choice so...)

He also was the first to bring up the godfather theory, though he too noted that it wasn't set in stone.

Semantics, I was actually the second, though I had written it only to go back and see Fenris having mentioned the same possibility. So yeah, I would have brought it up regardless if anybody else had which probably keeps to the spirit of what you're saying here.

Ok so we for sure have safe claims in place. Everyone’s claimed and everyone has claimed town and some of these are fairly deep cuts so we can’t trust the claims.

I don’t like Ricky’s claim. Giving town a third power role against the mafia seems like it would tip the game in town’s favor and it’s one he could fake by saying he blocked people and nothing happened.

Just throwing out there, but if there is a town roleblocker in play, what special mafia roles are there? There’s only 2 mafia and for all intents and purposes, this has been a pretty simple game. Heck, even if there was a godfather, I don’t think they’d be affected by the Roleblocker. The only roles we know are in the game so far are town roles. Wouldn’t it be counterintuitive for a town-aligned roleblocker to be in ola6 if only special town was in play?

??? town roleblockers are a thing and sometimes the mafia is set up such that the kill is being performed by one specific person and so u can roleblock that person and stop the nightkill, but 1. i'm sticking to the concept that brackie chose a very basic setup for this game which absolutely precludes there being any more town power roles and 2. holy shit would that make the town way too strong unless the mafia has some really strong power roles in place themselves, and that would just up the complexity factor by. a lot. it doesn't feel likely to me at all and i dont like it op
