I'm vaguely agreeing with this. As... feasible as it would be the rational part of my brain is telling me that it'd be major galaxy brain to bus your scumbuddy day one when you could've feasibly named any other inactive to policy lynch. I do certainly think there were scum on the decoy lynch (I think scum want to be seen on lynches in general, town or otherwise), but for better or worse I'm willing to trust Fenris for leading a charge on scum.

Meanwhile, I'm going to have to deal with the fact that I was wildly off base day one and also still alive. If anyone is willing to ask me questions (other than "provide a readlist on THE ENTIRE GAME" because i'm not really a player who does readlists) I will do my best to answer them and provide my thoughts on things.

Kermit makes a good point about decoy possibly being a mafia self sacrifice bus. If they were going to pick someone, they’d pick a goon. Given the pretty universal town reads on Jace given his actions yesterday the cleanliness of that first day sort of puts Town back at square one. It’d be a big brain play but I don’t put it past mafia if they have the right people on their side. Fenris’ non defense is a little sus too.

Suspicion wise I’ll have to do a proper readthrough later today, but I would be looking towards people who hopped on the wagons third or fourth. That’s usually a good place for scummies to join in the fun.

I will point out that Decoy's wagon was very easy to join, so it's going to be a bit trickier to dig into it. I mean look at Paige's post: they say basically nothing and just go along with the stated reasoning, and in any other context it would look suspicious as hell, but we know for a fact that Paige was town. In future, Fen, please try to make lynches less easy to dogpile on so that we can get more information out of them, as was your stated goal. ((But we're still cool OOC :doubleguns:))

Lynching someone for not posting much in day one with the justification of either pressuring inactives or just killing some for the sake of getting some info out of day one seems really reckless. The gusto with which Fen is leading the narrative while doing so makes me sideeye.

this was brought up by slam during the attempt to lynch decoy but was then quietly dropped when he got push back and people were clear they were on board with the strat. worth looking into? you decide? (yes)
