Sorry bro, did you read Day 1? Because neither of these two were driving the bus on MS. Prim just put a vote on and stuck with it and Poly was actively defending him. So please explain what your reasoning here is.

Granted both those things could just be a scum bait but everything could potentially be a scum bait, I’m just interested in why you’re trying to reframe what happened.

Not trying to reframe anything, I'm just looking at how I perceived things. I'm not exactly reading back. Maybe I'm totally wrong, I don't know. I fucking suck at this game and I don't know how everyone is reaching so deep into things. I genuinely don't know what else I can say to explain my thought process behind my vote other than "we should lynch someone", which we didn't.

For the record, I apologize for being judgmental to the folks here. It’s just a game and there’s no need to be petulant and frustrated about it. Under the circumstances, voting for me was the correct play, because I’ve been kind of a jerk.

But that being said, everything I’ve said is the truth, and if I’m flipped, I hope you’ll believe me about Deamon as well.

I’m not talking about your vote. I’m talking about your reasoning for pointing to Poly and Prim as suspicious.

Because they seemed okay jumping on the bandwagon? I don't know, that's all I have. I should probably read the posts back.

My bad @ the post restriction comments, from what I got last night people didn't seem surprised if that was the case? I don't really know how jailors work in sotf mafia- though I did play a jailor-esque role in the Umeni- *shot*

But that was that, you know.

Anyway, as for my reasons for voting for MeS, I was in it for most of the same reasons as cactus? That I thought it would give more info than going off discussion posts alone. But I jumped off the train because it seemed like everyone was in it for that reason, which means if MeS was town after all any scumreads from it are a lot wafflier because everybody has the reason/excuse of saying "I just wanted info" and yeah that would lead to a bit of a mess. At least that's what I thought would have happened.

I can see where you're coming from for the people who hopped on the lynch last-minute (Poly, Cactus) but not the people who jumped on it when there were still two days left and the only serious non-info lynch on the train was Goose (Blast, Prim, Blizzard, and the dead Irina). Still not entirely in agreement though, since it seems like a very unnecessarily risky strat and a very aggressive bus.

Don't like this Blast train, given how easy it is to verify his role. As soon as another power role comes forward (no, please don't offer yourself up at this stage in the game), we can check his claim. If we find that he's lying, we can lynch him then. Don't really see the argument for why claiming so early is scummy, either. It's a touch odd, yes, but it's not odd in a scummy way imo, and is something I'd expect equally from panicking town as panicking scum.

So I 100% believe your claim, Blast, and it's actually what I thought it would be. Mami binds Homura in both the tv show (episode 3) and the movie, so that makes perfect sense for the jailor.

However: Mami also once killed her fellow magical girls, and Fenris' flavor introduction seems to point to the mafia consisting of magical girls in this game.

My guess about game structure is as follows: assuming one Mafia and one-third party (SK or Arsonist), Mafia either consists of Witches, or the Mafia consists of Magical Girls. If Mafia consists of witches, I imagine those witches would have safeclaims, and I am fairly confident Mami wouldn't be one of those claims. If Mafia consists of Magical Girls, however, I would absolutely expect Mami to be among their number. Blast is still my prohibitive favorite for a lynch, because a) losing them doesn't cost us that much, since the odds of their power being useful are pretty low since they'd both have to know someone had a power and jail them on a night when they tried to use their power and b) I'd get a lot of info out of their flip about the game structure (if they flip scum) and players (if they flip town).

That said,

UNVOTE

We've got a little time, and I don't want us sneaking up on hammer range. Does anyone else have any prohibitive favorites? I know we've got eyes on Cactus, though I don't fully understand that push (their reasons all seem ground in the old mafiascum meta, and as someone who still uses nerfed tactics in Destiny I understand how it feels to get caught flat-footed when the culture changes).

The current vote total is as follows:

blastinus- 4 (Riki, KamiKaze, Emprexx Plush, Primrosette)
Riki- 1 (blastinus)
Polybius - 1 (Zetsu)

17 alive means 9 to lynch. Approximately 2 days remain. Doors begin to close.

Re: what info from a MeS lynch

I was pretty suspicious of the people who jumped on the train with little reason after it started gaining steam, bringing him so close to lynch fairly early in the day phase (Boogie, Goose, Prim, Irina, Blizz). I was pretty sure MeS would flip town, and once it became clear no one else had the possibility of getting lynched, I thought that if MeS was proven town we could turn our attention to the people in that group. I thought if we ended with no lynch it would just be more inscutable memeing on day two.

I'm also more suspicious of boogie after my reread. Post 92 particularly irks me, he tries to turn things real and give Paige a serious vote over an obvious joke vote but when called out he plays it off like he's joking. Still don't know what he'd gain from faking bulletproof but I suppose he could be a bulletproof mafia.
