feel like at this point we just lynch dodd as opposed to sitting around twiddling our thumbs. if everyone's said their piece

my reads list is, from town to scum:

me (confirmed by role pm)
fen (borderline confirmed cop, unless ricky did something really really weird with the setup, and even then this is just. a stupidly bold claim for scum to make when we're this close to mylo or lylo or whichever we're approaching)

boogie (could be the godfather, but otherwise confirmed town)

Yugi (vt claim, but play looks townie)
Jace (while doctor's a better claim than vt, keep in mind that Jace claimed last; if there's no doctor in the game, Jace could be scum looking at the setup and realizing that there's no doctor, and thus realizing that doctor works as a safeclaim. still, their claimed night actions look townie yeah)

Irina (i actually like the backup doctor claim, but play looks scummy. obligatory note that irina's play always looks scummy, though :p)

Dodd (i have never once heard of there being two millers in the game)

gonna be drinking that prickly pear juice for lunch

(also my vote's already on cactus)

if dodd isnt strongman then i vote we lynch backup doctor, that's waaaay too much protection for town to be getting without a strongman to counter

(unless it's the last scum member who's a strongman, but i'm gonna occam's razor this)

might still lynch backup doctor next even if dodd does flip as strongman, mind

@jace: protect fen, please. we can play the WIFOM game of 'ah yes fen is the obvious target so obviously doctor should protect fen but if fen is the obvious protect then shouldnt scum target someone else? and if scum should target someone else then shouldnt i not target fen?' but imo it's not worth the risk of risking fen's safety

also, if Dodd isn't strongman, you protect fen, and fen still gets nk'd, we get confirmation that either you're scum (bc then we know you didn't protect fen) or that the last mafioso in play is a strongman

Also, if no NK takes place on fen, then we can probably lynch Irina

oh in case it wasn't clear, fen's safety is paramount bc they're the only remaining power role town has besides Jace, and presumably Jace can't target theirself (can you target yourself, Jace?). obviously it's a useless power role if the last non-dodd mafia player around is a godfather, but that's not a certainty. even if it is godfather, i feel like fen's probably still the most important target given that they're as close to confirmed town as you can get, and the next closest, boogie, doesn't need nobody's protection on account of how he's bulletproof

Just here to confirm I've read your posts yes. And I have no idea if I can protect myself, I didn't ask. As the game went on I started to feel less and less like i'd ever get lynched just bc I'm probably best case scenario inept newb for mafia to keep alive and win. That might change if I protect Fen though.

oh @jace does your role have anything about not being able to protect the same person twice in a row or something? usually doctors have that clause to prevent follow the cop strats
