I think the thing here is we've had very few things to go off of. Right now, as I see it, the points for possible discussion are:

1. Ricky's claim. The problem is, this is a conversation starter that started no conversations. I view it as obvious jest in a way that I wouldn't were this a bigger game because on a balance level SK does not make sense to me with a nine-person game. Neither does jester. SK would lead to the game being over really quick (unless mafia was pitifully small--like two members). Jester would sow loads of confusion in a setup where there's relatively little room for error. In all likelihood scum team is three members--I guess two is possible if they're strong or town is weak.

2. Blizzard's discussion of Kermit and related stuff. Honestly, this rings my alarm bells more than anything else I've seen but I also jump on whoever's newest in every game ever with about the same accuracy rate as throwing darts blindly and I'm trying to be a little bit more relaxed about it this time.

3. Kermit's deadline reminder and words in favor of Blizzard. This is, to me, a good look as it prods people into action and also Blizzard wasn't in the hot seat so there's nothing really to be gained by a random defense as scum. Kermit has also been goofy all game in a pretty in-character way so to me he feels like he's putting on his serious hat to try to puzzle stuff out a bit due to deadline but is similarly stumped to everyone else.

None of this is a lot and I think the flavor gulf is a bit larger here than usual. Would love thoughts from anyone else on anything here that stands out to them, gives an avenue from which to spitball, etc. A big alarm bell for me in normal circumstances would be everyone totally no-selling Ricky's joke, but like... everyone did it. I specifically didn't say anything about it until now in hopes someone might bring it up but nope, so there's not a lot to glean.

im half asleep so i wont make serious claims/speculation right now bc ill sound dumb as hell but i will say that brackie said he was looking at basic setups. so id basically guarantee we have 2-3 mafia w/ no power roles and if we have any power roles its 1 cop and maybe 1 doctor. i really doubt we have anything fancier than that.

and yeah i skipped over ricky's joke completely because there is no fuckin chance of there being an SK or a jester in this setup so whatever

Hey girls! So I’m gonna comment on some stuff cause I wanna contribute and be useful. Plus Tobie brought up some super cool discussion points!

So, with the MK thingy, I’m with Fen-Fen on this. I, like, super doubt that an SK is in this game considering there’s only 9 of us lovely ladies and mafia and SK would be like too many killer bitches in one season. Maybe next season honey.

As for Blizzard, she was in the hot seat cause my girl Rugga mentioned that we should vote off the quietist girls like in the show. I imagine she felt the heat of needing to contribute and not been seen like as a floater or some shit. At least. That’s my read on it.

Now I know we’ve all been enjoying the flavour of this season, but like, I just want to mention that it was Rugga who made the first suggestion that we should vote for the quietest which is the sentiment that’s Kermit was going with to like vote off Skraal. While I’m, like, totally cool with this considering Skraal has been super quiet, there have been others who were quiet as well. Like basically Kermit, Rugga and myself have been most active cause we’re playing into the theme and have some/more knowledge of this stuff.

Plus, I totally asked Rugga which quiet girl she wanted to vote for cause she was the one that suggested it and I’m happy to throw my vote in that direction, but she never responded. I’m like going to give her benefit of the doubt considering she’s my friend and probably is super busy with that new wine she’s promoting, but would that be suspish or am I just reading into that?

In any case, if Kermit is gonna vote for Skraal considering she’s been Uber quiet, then I can throw my vote that way. But I do want to hear more from my girl Rugga about her thoughts. Xoxo

I'd be super shocked if there were no power roles at all--even the most basic setups of in-person werewolf I've played have had something. That said, the typical core roles are, yeah, doctor and cop and maybe a couple other things.

I'm a little cautious of going off half-cocked with a much smaller playing field (three scum would mean mislynch + nightkill = we're at LyLo on phase two) but at the same time we'll be having the same conversation tomorrow if we don't get anything material out of it today so I'm down to shift my vote to Skraal if we don't get any sort of response.

In short: Skraal, thoughts on the game so far? Reads (even loose or uncertain ones)?

oh i meant no mafia power roles. maybe godfather but even that feels like a stretch. most vanilla-ish setups have no non-goon mafia.

Alright, first off, I want to apologize for not being so active yesterday. The last couple days were really busy for me, and I assumed most of what was going on was just playing around in character, so I wasn't paying much attention. I realize that was a mistake on my part and promise to make a much better effort of keep up with the thread from now on.
