Official deadline is in five hours but real talk I messed up the timezones and was aiming for 8 PM tonight and there's just about no way I'll be up when it hits. I also work tomorrow, so in all likelihood the results will be posted around 8-8:30 Pacific tomorrow night, but if something crazy happens and I get a chance sooner it is what it is. Any actions that sneak in before I post results will be counted, even if technically over the timer.

Like flat out lol.

Going to parse this in the same post instead of splitting it for effect, but I'd still like said reaction posted. If this game is Umineko Mafia 2, I want to say I called it.

That said, I'm going to assume it's a real game for a bit longer.

I'm getting the distinct impression these flips are not reliable.

Even in a Bastard game, two traitor flips makes no sense in a game this size - it makes t such that the game is almost literally unplayable for any non-scum faction. (This includes a secondary scum faction) Bastard games have a lot of BS, but I don't believe that Murder deliberately set it up to be unwinnable.

I was ready to eat crow for Irine somehow being a traitor in spite of the odds, but Boogie was acting pretty Town by the end of the phase - I'll go back and dissect if you guys really want, but there's no way this is legitimate.

everyone apparently being a traitor scans perfectly well with flavor. being a massive bastard game also scans with flavor.

i dunno what to say re: how we proceed, just that we're going to have to proceed blind. either of them might or might not be scum. we just cannot rely on looking at past voting patterns and such for scumhunting, which is unfortunate since it's one of the only tools we've got.

So in looking into the flavour - it's stated that routinely every player in the game is a member of a secret society and that there are various objectives to complete, which usually go against one another.

So could everyone potentially be a traitor, each with a different win condition? Hence why everyone might scan as a traitor, since their win condition wouldn't match up with Friend Computer's goals? Could we be traitors without knowing it? Or could we automatically be assumed to be traitors because we're dead?

I'm spitballing, but that would be fairly bastard. Friend Computer was also particular about identifying Vyse as a team leader, so maybe his win condition is unique in that he's on the page with Friend Computer?

I don't know. I'm trying to think of what would make sense but be very un-mafia like but still keep the game winnable.

Yeah no, I really don't want to lose my mislynch record just because I got run over the one game I can't go hyperactive.

I love how quickly this was spun based on flavor though. -_-
