Ericka managed to lose the other girl in the commotion. But there were bound to be other people in the town, after all, it was the center of the remaining safe-zones.
It would be better to move outward, maybe try to pick off anybody who seemed vulnerable.
She did a quick check of her bag. Most of it's contents seemed to still be there, but she had forgotten to zip it closed when she rushed out of the town center, so she was concerned that something may have fallen out.
She decided to keep moving, she had been standing in the open for too long.
