Name: Natalie Williams
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
School: Bayview Secondary School

Hobbies and Interests: Drawing and painting. She also spends a lot of time at the local coffee shop, where she both works and generally just hangs around.

Appearance: Standing at 5'8'' and weighing a mere 125 pounds, the best word to describe Natalie would be lanky. She is quite skinny and rather flat-chested, something which she often humorously points out herself. She has long, straight, dirty-blond hair, a thin face with a slightly large, pointed nose, and small, sharp green eyes, which are emphasized by the oversized glasses she typically wears despite not needing them. Natalie's classmates would describe her fashion sense as ‘eclectic' at best and ‘fucking weird' at worst. She tends to wear loud, neon colors, mismatched pieces of clothing, and has been known to change her hair dramatically from time to time, though it is currently in its natural state. On the day she was kidnapped, she was wearing a bright green tanktop, a red bandanna around her neck, tight purple jeans with a neon green belt, and rainbow checked Vans.

Biography: Though she tends to shy away from widespread notoriety at her school, Natalie is somewhat well known for her artistic endeavors – in fact, she can often be found cutting class in order to spend more time in the art wing, much to her teachers' dismay. Easygoing and possessing something of a dry wit, Natalie has made several friends, particularly among her fellow art students, due to her calm, if somewhat lackadaisical persona.

Her interest in art, one of the few interests she has managed to retain for the majority of her life, stems from when she was very young. It may have something to do with the fact that coloring books were one of the few toys her parents could consistently afford for her growing up – though quite close, Natalie's family was always financially strained, and even as a little girl, she was somewhat aware that she wasn't quite as well of as most of her classmates. Her clothes were always a bit more worn, her toys outdated, and she was a bit out of touch with many cultural norms, as her television was broken and her family couldn't afford a new one until she was a bit older. Her mother Theresa bartends nightly, her father Ralph is a construction worker, and both of Natalie's older sisters immediately got full time jobs waitressing after graduating high school in order to help support the family. Natalie herself got a small part-time job at a local coffee shop starting in eighth grade. The pay was rather low, but it was very easy, requiring little effort, which was what was truly important to Natalie, who was beginning to develop an aversion to hard work. Seeing the ridiculous amount of stress her parents and sisters put themselves under worried Natalie deeply. She never wanted to have to make herself that miserable solely to get by.

What terrified Natalie even more, however, was the day her eldest sister, Jennifer, lost her waitressing job. The long hours and constant strain had begun to wear on her, affecting her work performance, and she was finally laid off when the manager needed more money to pay the rent for the building. Jennifer spent a long period of time at home in a near-catatonic depression, and though her parents did their best to console her, they were forced to work even longer hours to make up for the loss of Jennifer's salary. The ordeal was deeply unsettling to Natalie, who was now just starting high school. To her, the possibility of failing with a responsibility as huge as one's own financial well-being was so mortifying that it seemed simpler to just shoulder as little responsibility as possible – why set herself up for a fall as big as her sister's? Her fear was so great that, already possessing a bit of a lazy personality, Natalie began to become a bit of a slacker, shirking such things as schoolwork in order to work on her art, or to hang around the coffee shop, or to just waste time sitting around talking with her friends.

It was at said coffee shop where Natalie developed her "bohemian" (as she would put it) sense of style. She made friends with her fellow employees and patrons, and through them broadened her taste in music, fashion and art, even getting a few of her favorite paintings on display in the café. She also took up smoking during her breaks with the rest of the staff, an activity that began as simply an occasional social thing but developed into habit. The owner of the coffee shop, Richard, who was somewhat of a hippie, became a bit of a role model to Natalie, and she longed for a similarly simple lifestyle. She began spending time more and more exclusively at the café, and as a result, became rather out of touch with most of the goings-on among the rest of her high school class. Many began to view her as somewhat pretentious, though Natalie would simply say she just didn't get along as well with most of the members of her class. Recently accepted to a prestigious art school and presented a rather large scholarship due to her low financial standing, Natalie looks forward to living the simple, easy life denied to the rest of her family.

Advantages: Natalie's generally calm and soothing demeanor could potentially earn her a lot of allies.

Disadvantages: Her habit of smoking could prove to be problematic for both her skill at running and her mood when she runs out of cigarettes. Natalie's phobia towards responsibility and general flakiness hinders her ability to take a role as a leader or to make a decisive action or split second decision. She has next to no knowledge of Survival of the Fittest, believing television to be evil, or how to use a weapon of any kind.
