Name: Marcia Gomez
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: Senior [12th]
School: Bayview Secondary School
Hobbies and Interests: Marcia's an outdoorsy type, bonding to anything outside. Hiking, nature observation, biking, really anything that gets her outside. Environmental Science, animal biology are her two strongest courses.

Appearance: Marcia comes from a very short, plump family. She is little exception to the rule, standing at a mere 5'3 feet, and weighing 130 pounds. While she isn't terribly fat, she's a bit plumper than the other girls, not that she lets that get to her. She works outdoors quite a bit, so underneath the fat, is a strong layer of muscle.

She has a pretty face, though her round chin suggests she's fatter than she actually is. Her brown eyes are so lightly colored, in certain lights they look more golden than brown. Her eyelashes are quite long, bordering a cartoonish level in length. Her lips are somewhat plump, usually coated in cheap chapstick or lip gloss. Nothing too elaborate, but effective. This attitude applies to all her make up. She has a flat nose, one that gives her some black features. Her hair is naturally curly, to the point where it has to be straightened regularly. She usually wears this down, or sometimes in a ponytail if she's working outside.

She usually opts for function over fashion in her clothing choice. Her sneakers have horribly freyed laces, the toe of the shoes often have holes and tears on them. She usually wears jeans that have been sewn and patches up multiple times. Her shirts, usually covered in her baggy sweatshirt, are low cut.

Biography: Marcia was born on July 4, 1990, right on Independence Day. She was born to Maria Gomez, and a father who she never knew. Her mother was a first generation American, being born from her Brazilian mother, Luce, and father, Carlos. Her father was black, named Oliver, and was a Haitian native, but that is all Marcia knows of her father. Either way she's entirely indifferent to his existence, rarely thinking about him, and caring even less.

Growing up with Marcia, her mother was forced to move back in with her elderly parents. Carlos died with Marcia was 6, and her newborn sister, Elena, was a mere 8 months. This devastated Luce, forcing Maria to abandon all plans of moving out with her daughters, to care for her. This loss also meant that Marcia had little male influence in her life. This started to reflect in her choice of men, as she starting dating older men, perhaps looking for a father figure in these men.

At School, Marcia has always been an active student, both in the classroom, and within the student body. Marcia fit right into school, being known for making fast friends with her confident attitude, and her warmth. She's an overachiever with friends, joining just about every club her friends are into, going out to every party or get together.

Academically she's been a mediocre student, no doubt related to her excessive partying, and her membership to an abundance of groups. She's always been good at maintaining a b- average in most classes, really only excelling in a few courses. Biology and Environmental Science were exceptions to her passive learning style. She was active in class, absorbed anything her teacher had to say, and was genuinely interested in the fields. As of now, she hopes to do something with this passion. Working for the government to help cut down on pollution, work on saving endangered animals threatened by human actions, she's still undecided about what she's going to do.

She's a member of many clubs, so many, that she's started to lose track of them, and has been kicked out of a few without her knowledge. She is in Theater and Glee Club, but she's a bit stage phobic, so she rarely participates. Her main interest is the school's outdoors club. It combines hiking, gardening and cleaning up the school, all of which she really enjoys. The teacher of the club adores the girl, finding a kindred spirit in the young girl.
Advantages: Marcia's known as one of the kindest people in all of Bayview. She's always looking out for her friends and classmates, making her an easy person to trust. She makes fast friends, and has a calm nature to her. Should anyone come to her in duress, Marcia will always be there to lend an ear.

Even though she's a bit heavy, Marcia's strong from her work outdoors. While she may not be as strong as an athlete or anyone that constantly works on their body, She could potentially fight anyone that threatens her, though it isn't very probably she'd ever raise a fist to anyone.
Disadvantages: Marcia never took learning too seriously, instead she opted to be with her friends. As a result, she's a bit uneducated outside her favorite field. This coupled with her trusting nature, could lead to her being easily manipulated through out life.

Marcia places friendship as one of her main priorities in life, meaning she's gonna always see the good in people. While this is an admirable trait, it is not a survival trait, and she could end up trusting the wrong type of person.
