Name: Andrew Bishop White
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Grade: 12
School: Bayview Secondary School
Hobbies and Interests: jogging, field & track, dancing, jazz
Appearance: Bishop (he prefers to be called by his middle name), is in every sense of the word, handsome. Standing at 5'8'' and weighing 150 pounds, he has a slim build with a light tan pallor. Long light-blonde hair adorns his head, falling to the base of his neck in the back and to just above his eyes in the front. He has piercing green eyes, which make him look rather intimidating at a glance. He has a bad habit of poking at his facial hair, and thus shaves regularly to keep his face smooth and free of any temptation. He is often seen wearing khaki pants, a white long-sleeved button-down shirt, and a plain under-shirt of varying colors. Bishop wears a rosary around his neck at all times, although he usually keeps it hidden beneath his under-shirt to avoid drawing attention to it.
Biography: Bishop was born to a Catholic family in the sprawling urban jungle of St. Paul, Minnesota. From the very beginning, his investment-banker father and stay-at-home mother gave their son a Catholic upbringing; Sunday school, church services, confessions, choir, he did it all. For the first decade of his life, he was a boy of faith through and through. Seeing his father's cordial and kind treatment of his mother, from an early age Bishop developed a very traditional and chivalrous attitude towards girls.
At age 11, Bishop expressed a desire to enter a secular middle school, wishing to meet new friends and experience something new and different. Although his mother adamantly opposed the idea, his father agreed to his son's wishes, arguing that they could not keep him hidden away from the real world forever. An ecstatic Bishop was enrolled in a secular middle school.
He didn't waste much time in establishing a reputation for himself among his classmates and teachers. His strict sense of self-discipline ensured that he was always polite and well-behaved, as well as diligent with his homework and studies. Although he struggled heavily with concepts such as math and science, his intensive studying allowed him to keep his grades at a steady low-B range for the majority of his middle-school life.
However, for his classmates, his true reputation came not from his grades, but from his attitude towards bullies. Although the boy was often targeted by bullies, his Christian upbringing had endowed him with a very non-confrontational mindset. As a result, he would often turn the other cheek and allow the bullies to extort or beat him to their leisure. However, his attitude towards bullies bullying other kids, especially girls, was another story altogether. Bishop's belief in chivalry and standing up for the weak caused him to frequently attempt to intervene in bullying, earning him a wide array of beatings. But because he refused to fight, Bishop instead trained himself to do the next best thing: run. And it rapidly became apparent that it was something that he excelled at. His quick reflexes and speedy legs allowed Bishop to outmaneuver and outrun many a bully. Using this to his full advantage, Bishop made a habit out of taunting bullies away from their targets and towards him, earning him great popularity from his peers.
Over the course of his middle-school and high-school life, Bishop's religious beliefs gradually drifted from the devout Catholicism of his parents. No longer satisfied by blind faith, he instead developed his own religious ideas and beliefs, living by the simple motto of "be good...Especially to girls." But despite this shift of faith, he maintains a positive relationship with his Catholic parents. His more "traditional" mother does occasionally voice concern for her son's soul though, to which he always replies, "I'm sure God will understand, mom."
Being the speedy guy that he is, Bishop joined the track team upon entry to high-school, and quickly proved to be one of the best runners in the school. He also developed a great love for dancing, especially the more elegant dances like the tango and waltz. His prowess with dancing has made him a rather popular target by the ladies of Bayview School during the slow songs at school dances. And being the gentleman that he is, he is always happy to accept a lady's hand.
Advantages: Bishop's main physical advantage lies in his quick speed and lightning reflexes. His politeness and popularity among the bullied, downtrodden, and female also may give him an advantage in finding allies.
Disadvantages: Bishop does not possess a very high intellect, and struggles academically. His method of dealing with bullies has also made him several enemies in the more shady demographic, which could have rather unfortunate consequences for him. And while he is fast and agile, he possesses little to no physical strength, and has absolutely no experience with weapons or fighting.
