Name: Charlie Figures
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Grade: 12
School: Southridge
Hobbies and interests: Going out to cozy, small parties with his friends, playing some video games of his liking, watching good movies. He just achieved to make Second Honnors last year and was also awarded the Film Club medal for being the most active member (although he wouldn't want to be called a film conocieur, a term that would irritate him, not because of shame but because "it lacks seriousness").
Appearance:
Reaching an average-smallish height and weighting around 130, he considers himself to be a bit plump, although the only place on his body which seems to reveal this is his belly. Has somewhat hairy arms and because of this, he believes that the best method for hiding that is to use ornamental wear (elegant watches, rubber and leather wristbands, etc).Always exhibiting a wiry brown hair that drowned his dark eyes and seemed dull and unhealthy, he prefers to keep it slightly short and spread it evenly throughout his head.
Some of those who've debated with him have gleefully related with resentfulness the combination of his long neck and flat chin with his unyielding opinion, though it worked more as a satisfying excuse to appease the heatedness of the moment than like a long-lasting fixation.
Biography:
Sharp, but not interested in delving too deep inside of matters mainly because of the relationship he has established between discomfort and abuse of knowledge. He secretely believes that too much information can mislead you and that some things should be believed by faith (not only the religious one). This not because of fanatism, but rather because his past attitude of altering things in reality when nothing else could be found in the confusion of objectiveness. His motto is "Necessity is the mother of invention".
Some things should never be known. Once they're revealed you notice how much mutilation can reach your perfect life. This is his humorous, light motto applied to his personal life.
When five, he saw a small bird with a wide chest in the gravel of the school path. His friend, attempting to please him, took the bird in his hand and revealed that his neck had been broken. Upon seeing he sternly proposed himself to react in a less shameful manner once he grew, but the only thing he could notice latter on was how Alfred worsened tings in a pathetic way which his childish mind considered more appropriate. This is one of the reasons to why he believed that there were some things which should not be seen.
He used to opose to firearms since small, as he related them to warfare. Also, he didn't need to remember that they had been the cause of some disturbing photos which he had seen on internet. Then, of course, a guy who he used to like quite a bit eventually ended up arguing with him about this subject. "Not to talk shit just because of probabilities" Right after he had said that almost always guns ended up blasting things out of the perspective. He couldn't avoid remaining silent, nor he tried to. He remembered that, but in his own words, said in other ways. It was then a disquieting reminder to see how in a movie, a character killed himself with a gun. He silently agreed, once again, that it had been the best thing he could have done in that situation. Curious, he sometimes would bump into the name of a gun and he couldn't avoid searching images of them. He did almost nothing else besides looking intently at it for several seconds to then close the page. After all, it didn't impress him that scenes like that were capable of happening, they didn't have a life themselves, only humans were behind them.
His father was Chuck Figures, owner of the Numb Chuck Icecream Parlor. While it was a mildly lucrative job, he belived his father could do better, though he was neither ashamed nor proud about this. His mother gave art lessons in his highschool and had just achieved the Bachellor's degree in architecture after a long interval of time. He had a sister of about 27 and whom he remembered only in his earlier childhood memories, though he still saw her very often.
His best friend was Cecilia, whom amused him strangely with her character. He often found that behavior strangely pleasing because he considered it "more common in people". Then there was Alfred, his childhood friend, whom was more social than him but still enjoyed his company quite a lot.
About social life. He didn't dislike huge parties, but they often bored him after some time because he prefered to have long conversations with a few people instead of prancing around the place saying hello to everyone. That is why, whenever he thought of something, he only invited his friends and people he found interesting. The only consolation for him in such cases was a fair amount of alcohol, just enough to make him more euphoric.
Advantages: He is somewhat inventive and has an eagerness for weapons, including firearms such as handguns, but he does not know how to handle them. He also has a good aim whenever he throws an occasional object such as a pencil or stick, though he keeps swearing its all luck. He can adapt to some people too.
Disadvantages: He can't adapt to an atmosphere he finds uncomfortable and can't find a quick solution to it. He also prefers to be aware of the good side of guns ever since he discovered it.
