Name: Hiro Fukuyama
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Writing, Reading, Harry Potter

Appearance: If one were to even notice Hiro at all, they'd find a tiny, meek-looking asian...something. It's kind of hard to tell at a glance whether Hiro's a boy or a girl. Standing at 5'0" and weighing only 105 lbs with remarkably pale skin, she looks like someone one could easily break over their knee. Her black hair is cropped very shortly and her face has a very small nose and a soft expression that almost looks like her eyes are closed most of the time. She has a rather skinny build, which she hides with lots of baggy clothing; a dark green long-sleeved shirt with a heavy brown jacket, a black pair of jeans and black and white sneakers. Hiro's posture is terrible, as she can often be found slouching.

Biography: Born to Hiroshi and Shiori Fukuyama, Hiro was a miracle child. Her parents already being warned that she probably wouldn't survive, she was born prematurely and spent a good month in intensive care. Being diagnosed with chronic anemia at an early age, her parents ended up extremely protective of her, this close to homeschooling her until some close friends convinced them to not be so stifling and let her go to public school. Unfortunately, Hiro became an easy target for bullies, and combined with the inclination of everybody who met her to treat her like she had a "Handle with care" sticker stamped on her forehead, the already shy and quiet girl soon becoming even more shy and quiet, so quiet that she was hardly even noticed anymore.

By the time middle school rolled around that she realized that she was getting sick and tired of being treated like fragile goods, and attempted to turn herself around. She started dressing in more baggy, androgynous clothing to draw attention away from her figure, which unfortunately led to a complex over time that made wearing anything even remotely girly made her very uncomfortable, thinking that it made people pay attention to her fragile stick figure more. Sadly, her attempts at trying to become more outgoing proved to be an uphill battle. When high school rolled around she finally succeeded in making some friends, mostly hanging out in the geeky circle, but she still remains quiet even around them. She started to develop a bit of a stubborn streak around the same time, able to become rather bull-headed if her buttons are pushed in just the right way (usually by insinuating, intentionally or not, that she's too weak and sickly to do something, or by just pushing her around too much) overcoming even her crippling shyness for a brief period of time.

She's taken a great interest in writing, starting from her very first writing class. She's written many short stories over time (that she mostly keeps to herself,) either for class assignments, or just personal projects. She's thought a bit about writing professionally, but she hasn't really done much to act on it just yet. She's also a big fan of the Harry Potter series, having read the whole series at least 3 times and seen all the movies. In fact, the series is what got her interested in reading more regularly in the first place, not really having any specific tastes and just picking up whatever sounds like an interesting read.

Hiro hasn't had any interest in joining any kind of club, and her best classes have always been English classes (at least as far as creative writing is concerned,) almost always getting A's, while she does about average in other classes.

She tends to have a somewhat awkward relationship with her parents. They still continue to be as overprotective as ever, overreacting to every minor injury or illness. She understands why they act like they do, but that still doesn't mean she likes it. Still, they're pretty accepting of anything she wants to do, so long as she doesn't have to strain herself doing it. Her interesting in writing, of course, was the perfect choice as far as they're concerned.

Advantages: Her lack of presence can make her harder to notice. She's also pitiful-looking enough that she might change someone's mind on whether or not they want to hurt her. She can also be very stubborn at times.
Disadvantages: Her health conditions give her a severe lack of stamina and a great lack of physical strength. Her stubbornness can also serve to work against her.
