Matthew Hunt - Profile

Hobbies: Watching movies, playing video games, browsing the internet, watching the news, and listening to music

Matthew was born as the only child of the Hunt family. Overweight at 200 pounds and is usually seen wearing a hoodie, he has an interest in movie making and is planning on working in the movie industry after he graduates. He is noted to be a good actor due to the experience and knowledge he gained from the film club and elective class. He is level-headed during most situations, never letting his emotions get in the way. Despite his reserved and friendly personality, even he has a limit. Once it is reached, he will either be blunt or act aggressively depending on the circumstances. He tends to get to the point when something important pops up. There are only a few people that he considers to be close friends and prefers to hang out with them over others. Matthew also likes to be sarcastic and this even extends to sensitive topics.

Blake Davis

Hobbies: JROTC program, gun shooting, current affairs, volunteering, community service, reading, watching TV

Born as the only child of the Davis family, it is generally known that Blake loves the JROTC program (and by extension, the military) and strives to earn every ribbon he can and reach the highest rank possible. On the outside and to the majority of people at school, he acts and looks how one would expect from someone in the program: loyal, patriotic, honest, smart, physically fit, and a great leader. However, while he is glad to be where he is now, that doesn't necessarily mean that he's innocent in every area. Behind the scenes, while he avoids drugs and alcohol to stay healthy, he engages in misdemeanors and petty crimes if he can get away with it, such as vandalism, theft, graffiti, and more. Blake has also reported other people for petty reasons and even framed a couple of them in the past in order to get back at them. If you're on his good side, he can keep your secret unless his public reputation is in immediate danger of being tarnished in his eyes.

So, I see Declyn and Matthew having been close around freshman year talking about webcomics and stuff, and then drifting apart as time went on and Declyn got more popular. They're probably still friendly with each other and talk to each other if the opportunity arises (especially venting about how much they hate PE).

I already replied in my old thread but here are some more thoughts. So, I see Declyn and Matthew having been close around freshman year talking about webcomics and stuff, and then drifting apart as time went on and Declyn got more popular. They're probably still friendly with each other and talk to each other if the opportunity arises (especially venting about how much they hate PE).

Yeah, I can see both of them being on good terms with one another, even when they stopped hanging out.

I could see Sean being friendly with Matthew as he tends to try and be friendly to folks on default and could hook him up with some metal music if he's any interested in that.

Seth has similar hobbies in regards to video games and the internet, but tends to be more of an emotional person and a bit taxing. Also a bit of a jerk.

Sean: Yep, I find it difficult to see how they wouldn't be friendly with one another.

Seth: They can certainly talk about those things and hang out, as long as Seth doesn't get too mouthy whenever disagreements pop up. They could certainly work together in study groups, though.

I’m not sure how Cecil and Matthew would know each other much. However, Cecil and Blake have some similarities but also really important differences which would be interesting to explore. They’re both high-achievers and determined to be perfect. High expectations are placed on them, but unlike Cecil, who just barely copes but has close support from his family, Blake copes with the pressure by doing illegal activities. At best, I was thinking that they could just be casual friends or at least friendly rivals in academics, but Cecil would think that they have mutual healthy respect for the other. If Cecil knew about his other activities, oh how fast that respect would turn to disgust. Of course, he’d have to be oblivious, or had suspicions but decided to dismiss them, because if he knew, he wouldn’t hesitate telling someone.

That last sentence has me imagining Cecil following Blake with a camera to bust him. Cecil is smart, so I doubt that he'll be completely oblivious to his other activities.

If Cecil did try to tell somebody, Blake would have to get away with it with minimal damage to his reputation. Depending on how much damage was done, I can imagine Cecil being a victim of a framing attempt out of spite, courtesy of Blake.

Outside of that, I can also see them casual friends.
