There are no templates or rules here, and nothing posted in this thread will grant you extra time to make posts (use the official Away thread for that). The splitting of these functions is to allow staff to better track who is Away, for bookkeeping purposes.

anyways im taking a break irl has been........ hectic and you can just ask anyone in sotfsurvivor how i was yesterday. irl things have been affected by overall mood and my approach to this website and i haven't been using this as a proper outlet (writing me being a bitch instead of being a bitch) so I'm taking a break for indeterminate amount of time of chat and just the community in general. i may pop in to post because i am still in two threads.

I have a head cold and can barely function at work let alone SOTF. Should be back in full force once it clears itself up. Which will hopefully be a few days.

hey cool kids. i haven't slept properly in days and forcing myself to Write Things feels like a massive struggle right now and i've fallen behind on my actual Job Work For Which I Am Paid so i should probably be focusing on that while i try to recover from whatever's up w/ my brain atm. i owe two posts right now and i might be a while longer with them unless i'm struck spontaneously with the creativity bug which happens sometimes

This is a bit of time coming.

My real life's really kicked into insane gear as of late, and I haven't had the time - or quite honestly - the motivation to get any posts out. I know I'm owing in a bunch of places right now, and I'll have a couple of hours this weekend while I'm on a train to try and rip out some posts, but I think my activity is going to be very sporadic over the next couple of weeks - probably not in chat much, probably not on the boards much. Sorry to anyone impacted by my absences lately.

So from today until Sunday I’m going to be on a family trip to Cornwall. I’ll have my iPad with me but I can’t guarantee I’ll have the ability to post. Will do so to the best of my abilities

Recent events have made me decide that I'm probably going to need to take a mental break from main for a couple of days. I'll stay on mini since I have actual obligations there and I can freely be Discord DMed from anywhere but I'm likely not going to log in on main and I'm definitely not going to be in chat either, so...

hi i should have posted here a few days ago but ive officially been to the doctor and such and so: i Officially have bronchitis, i just slept for 15 hours, i am basically dead to the world. i'm setting as reduced instead of away proper in case i have spontaneous bursts of creativity & bc ill probs be around on discord, i just lack writing energy atm. also because i have no idea how long this will last >_>

k now that I've finished w/ hosting Mafia I'm putting in that I'll be unofficially absent for a week or two due to a combination of bad tonsillitis and visiting family

Obviously I've been MIA by my standards for a hot weekend now, but I'm formally going to extend that missing-ness for a week in terms of posting. Bit burnt out on SOTF but more importantly, it's midterms week. Might as well reset with a bit of time away.

Hey everyone. Thought I'd give everyone an update since I've been silent a lot the past month or so.

I'm fine, it's the usual health stuff. I haven't felt super great, and it might show in my behavior. Apologies to people I'm holding up, I'll get to it ASAP.

i got denied service by my bank which mean im broke and shit and even if i got my new debit card, my bank account is still locked down so im officially Broke. I'm working on a solution but really it's like....... damn bitch i think i'll need to swap banks. anyways im bummed out lol

I forgot to be clear on this but the past week has involved me being sick, an anniversary celebration, and an ongoing scheduling "adventure" at work. This stuff will continue through the end of tomorrow so I'll be fairly absent on a posting front until Monday, unless the stars align such that I'm inspired enough to find cogency on four hours of sleep after a full shift at work.
