Appearance: Conrad stands at approximately 5 feet 7 inches and weighs around 250 pounds. A large majority of his weight is distributed between his well developed leg muscles and large gut, both of which he often attempts to hide underneath baggy cargo pants and t-shirts. He carries his wide shoulders at a bit of a slouch, another attempt to hide his stomach, and he takes relatively short strides for his long legs, due to the fact that the muscle and fat in his thighs prohibit wide ranging movements. From his shoulders, his arms, obviously filled with more fat than muscle, go down to short, wide palms and fingers. He has neck-length, dark brown hair that he mostly allows to do whatever it wants, resulting in a messy unkempt look. His skin is light with a mostly clear complexion, with some minor outbreaks of acne and freckles here and there. Besides on his head, hair grows sparingly on Conrad's body; this is especially evident when he wears a t-shirt and shorts. Hair also seems to avoid his round face, fat expanding his cheeks, so he has no need to shave. His nose is pointed, though not prominent, and slightly downturned. His small brown eyes are hard to see underneath large "nerd-like" glasses with thick lenses. Dark spots beneath his eyes give him a constant fatigued look.

Biography: Born to a lower middle class family, Conrad had a fairly normal childhood through elementary school. As part of his weekly routine,  the family went to a Nazarene Church wherever they lived. His mother was a stay at home mom who provided plenty of academic help through elementary school, leaving him at a reading level constantly higher than his peers. His father worked as a truck driver, delivering shipments of construction supplies. Whenever his father was home and had time though, Conrad was playing (and soon beating) his father at videogames. Conrad also found pleasure in curling up with a good book. However, his dad had poor job security, and the family: mother, father, Conrad, and his younger sister, had to move constantly move as new companies hired his father's services. Constant moving prevented Conrad from locking secure life-long friendships, and he soon stopped trying.

Upon reaching middle school, Conrad became somewhat of a social outcast. Given his interests, he become not only the "nerd" of the school, but also the stereotypical "fat-kid." Conrad's father, attempting to avoid future social problems, encouraged him to try sports.  Though against the idea, Conrad disliked disagreeing with his parents so he went for baseball and basketball in their respective seasons. From the start baseball turned out bad, still the fat-kid and nerd, he was constantly mocked by his team. On the bright side, his size scared the other team with his size, they thought he could hit a ball out of the field.  However, the other team's pitcher, while attempting to walk Conrad, would often hit him. One solid hit on his ankle once managed a minor sprain. This was not immediately recognized  and his coach had him keep playing. Through-out his 2 year sports career, starting at 5th grade, after another transfer of schools between 4th and 5th grades, Conrad tried to avoid complaining as he constantly twisted his perhaps permanently damaged ankle. Though the teasing continued and his ankle prevented him from ever becoming very good, Conrad persisted, since he was sure it was what his father wanted. It wasn't until the final game of Conrad's last basketball season that he finally gave up sports. His parents in the stands, he tripped badly recovering from being pushed away by one of the other teams players. The fall was bad and wrenched Conrad's ankle badly;  he wound up crying from the pain. His father took him out of the game and after some talking, they both agreed that competitive sports were not for him.

Conrad's time through the 7th grade proved just as bad. Not only did he manage to keep his reputations of nerd and fat-kid, he was now a crybaby. Eventually Conrad made friends with the special education kids. He found that they were much less judgmental, and he learned a lot about building relationships finally. Still, the mockery continued, and Conrad was soon failing most of his classes. His parents made the tough decision to home-school him for the rest of middle school. After showing remarkable progress through the courses criteria, Conrad managed to get through both 7th and 8th grade in a single year.

In order to give Conrad a social life while he was home schooled, his father got him involved in bible quizzing, an organization Conrad's father had been involved in since his own teen years. The program was a catalyst for many teen Christians to come together in fellowship, and add a competitive edge to get them to study the bible. The program worked remarkably, and though Conrad lacked the competitive drive many of the others had, he got into the books of the bible they were studying.  Up until this point, religion to Conrad was just church. kind of like how academics was just school. But at this point in his life Conrad dedicated himself to God fully. Taking C.S. Lewis as a role-model and learning from his books, Conrad was now proud to call himself a Christian.

After yet another move, Conrad wound up a semi-private school called Foxcroft Academy. Having his self-confidence boosted from the previous year of his life, Conrad went into 9th grade confident in himself. People found him very likable, they often were interested in his views as a Christian, and were glad that he did not force those views upon him. Past emotional scars still left Conrad with a lack of trust and he had no very close friends. Academically Conrad did well, rarely getting below a B grade in his classes.

By 10th Grade Conrad was president of the chess club and volunteered in the library often. This led him to meeting people who were interested in role-playing. So Conrad and a group of friends regularly played Dungeons & Dragons. Having had his father make a majority of his life's decisions, Conrad found deciding on a character to play difficult. He started to weigh out the pros and cons of each class, but he ultimately never really decided on a favorite. He would chose whatever class was missing in the party, since this was the easiest way to chose.

Once again Conrad's family moved, this time to the Bayview area, where he started attending  Bayview Secondary School starting his 11th grade year. Conrad found the move daunting;  he was quite comfortable with the environment  and people at Foxcroft Academy. He often wears T-shirts with a religious message on them, which kick-starts most of his conversations. otherwise, Conrad keeps to himself during school hours. He will usually be doing homework or reading when not in class. At home Conrad spends most of his time buried in a good book or playing a role-playing or strategy videogame.

Advantages: Conrad is easygoing and like to avoid conflict. Christian grounds give him hope where others might despair.
Disadvantages: Conrad's weak ankle and fat leaves him lacking physically. He is very indecisive, which would make him a poor leader.

Conclusion: Hmm... Well, this guy may be good for getting some sympathy viewers. He's a fat Christian wimp, though, and I don't think prayers and good intentions are going to be enough to pull him through this. We can at least hope Mr Chase lives up to his nickname. Watching him try to run away from someone would be hilarious, especially on treacherous terrain.
