First Impressions

First impressions are, through the way that they frame future interactions, often the most impactful experience one has in forming relationships - Be that impact positive or negative. I know I can remember the first conversation I had with almost everyone on the site, and whether consciously or subconsciously, that shaped my framework for trying to understand and talk to you in the future.
Now, what does this have to do with SOTF?
Well - One of the things I felt I didn’t do justice to in V7 was expanding on some of the smaller relationship hooks I’d discussed OOC, and that came back to bite me when I tried to play off of them in the game aproper, as I hadn’t had the opportunity to see how the characters actually worked with one another when fully written out. So, this time, I’m going to try things a little differently!
Rather than having a relationship thread for my character who will be socially focused (Alessandro), I will be attempting to write a thread which collates the first few moments he spent with a number of other V8 characters in a memories thread. In order to keep the thread relatively concise, whilst involving as many people as possible, I hope to do this with just a single post from both characters - e.g. Alessandro offers your kid a spare coke at lunch, your character accepts them and makes a funny joke, next scene. Your character bumps into Alessandro in the hallway and spills books everywhere, Alessandro decides not to help your character pick them up, next scene.
The kicker is, however, that I don’t want to plan out said scene in advance at all in an attempt to basically method act my way into a web of somewhat emergent relationships. So, if you have a great idea for a bit that you want to see Alessandro react to? Awesome, let’s do it. You want me to come up with something mundane but that’ll help sell your characters foibles? Hell yeah, let’s make it happen. Just don’t expect a guaranteed outcome!
Is this experimental as heck? Yup. Is there a good chance it might actually suck as an idea? Absolutely!

(P.s. My other kids will have a normal relationship thread but I don’t intend to play them a great deal in pregame, so will be taking somewhat of a back burner)
