SOTF SONG CONTEST NUMBER 86

hello everyone it's Pip again!!!!!!! someone keeps on letting me into the building for some reason, which is very silly because it means I keep on stealing snacks from the Staff lounge, and also submitting songs to the song contest as well. And today I am a winner! and that means YOU are all winners as well, because you get to participate in a GLORIOUS PIP SONGTEST!!!!
you may applaud a little if you like. i am still songtest princess after all. no, success hasn't gone to my head, what gives you that idea
Anyway!!!! There is a theme for this songtest!!!! It is......
Here's the super boring rules first of all!
Now, here's where I talk about the particulars of this songtest itself! So there was some discussion a while back as to whether it made more sense, when listing each submission, to put the song title first, or the artist name first; the the song is, of course, the song you will be listening to, thus holds significant importance, but the song also would not exist without the artist or band who created it. And that got me thinking! Way back in the past, in the misty history of the SOTF Songtest, we had the Alphabet Songtest 1, where everyone was assigned a letter from the alphabet, and would select a song whose title started with that letter. We are now going to be doing that again.... but with the artist name instead!
So! If you're interested in participating, then either post in this thread or drop me a DM on discord or via the boards. I'll then assign you a LETTER from the ALPHABET! You must then pick an artist/band/musically-inclined ctenophore that begins with that letter, choose a song by them, and then send it to me!
Sign ups will last, as is traditional, for three days! That makes the deadline 11PM ON FRIDAY THE 9TH OF JULY, 2021! Good luck everybody, and have fun!
