Hello everyone, it's me, Brackie! Thank you very much for your patience!

Now, as you may have notice, we have gone quite a while without having had semi-finals in the song contest - there are many ways to solve this, but I thought we'd try the easiest one:


Yes, you read that right - double! This contest has no restrictions on entry, but it does have additions on entry - namely, if you want, you can submit two songs! These songs will be spread across both semi-finals, and if they both make it to the finals, they are both in with a chance to win the contest (although, much like every other contest, you will not be able to vote for either of your own songs).

That's the theme, here are the rules:

- Submit your song via PM or discord, whichever is easier for you.

- Songs will be randomly divided into 2/3 semifinals depending on turnout.

- Listen to every song and give points to your top 10 favorites: 12 to your favorite, 10 to your second, 8 to your third, 7 to your fourth, and so on down to 1 point for your tenth favorite.

- If your song is in a given round, you must vote that round or you'll be eliminated. if your song isn't in that round (or you aren't in the contest at all), your vote will be counted as a public vote, which counts for half points.

- The top [x] songs will move on to the final. That number will depend on the number of entries.

- Repeat the process for the finals and we get a winner.

- Winner gets to hold the next contest, or they can pass the job along to 2nd place if they don't want to. 2nd place can pass down to third, etc, until someone wants to host.

- Make sure to have fun and be polite to your fellow entrants - it’s just a game, after all!

General song rules:
- No songs already submitted in a songtest.
- There is no penalty for length in this contest. However, if a song goes over 7 minutes, listeners aren't obligated to listen to more than the first 7 minutes of the song. so choose a long song at your own risk!

Each semifinal and the final will last for four days - some rules about activity/extensions:
- If you know at the start of your semifinal/final that you wont be available to vote at all for those three days, let me know A$AP Fergie and we can talk about extensions.
- I'll be pinging everyone who hasn't voted on Discord 24 hours before the round ends, because we don't need anyone forgetting to vote or anything.
- Extensions will only be granted in extenuating circumstances. forgetting to vote until an hour before deadline is not an extenuating circumstance.

Submissions will stay open for the next four days - no immediate deadline, but if we go 24 hours without a submission, we'll probably start the contest around this time 96 hours from now. Things may be extended if necessary, but until it is, assume the deadline is 96 hours from now!

We are now at songtest #89, and our theme for this contest is:
As we actually haven’t had a semifinal in a while, one solution was that, for this contest, you’d be able to submit not one, but two, two songs, if you so desire! No restrictions on entry, and both songs will be spread across both semifinals! Additionally, if both songs make it to finals, they will both have a shot at winning. However, you cannot vote for your own submissions, as usual!
