Survival Of The Fittest

So an idea I've been kicking around is the possibility of Dani throwing a Halloween party during V8. Given the time of year the pregame is set, this is actually a pretty viable scenario that can take place. I was thinking it would function similarly to how the #SwiftBall was done in V7, where people make threads that take place during this party. I've never run something like this, so I figured I'd make a interest check to see if anyone would want to take the time have their characters involved in this sort of multithread plot, as well as share any ideas you may have.

Only ideas I have so far are:
1) It is a costume party, so you can have your characters dress up however you want.
2) It'll be at Dani's big ass house.

I am always and will forever be willing to have Tana do some spooky shit, so if anyone wants to hold a seance or play with a ouija board at this party, hit her up because she will provide.

Molly and Fitz would both be down. Molly's big on the costumes and partying in general (and friends with Dani obv). Fitz is more just mildly interested but if someone's bringing the spooky ouija shit he'll be there he's down to make ghosts mad at him if it gives him a chance to see one. (It might be possible for someone to drag either Marshall or Roberta there but they wouldn't show for parties willingly otherwise.)

I could see Dawn going to the party, maybe dragging Ethan along.

Also Daenerys might come as well.

Only Derek would never set foot to such a thing.

Plus Dawn is always curious to try out new stuff, so she would be up to participate in any seance/ghost hunt/whatever.

I’m certainly interested! Assuming someone else is going that would ask Evie to come along, she’d be down. If I ever finish Beth she wouldn’t go even in the unlikely event someone did invite her, though.

Matthew would totally be down for partying! Madeleine would probably also show up, although Alex is allergic to socialisation and would make some sort of excuse up in the event he was invited. My fourth girl might come if she’s approved in time, although that’s unlikely.

Wow, I'm so happy with all this interest! I don't know when the party will be started OOC, but that shouldn't affect when it happens in-universe. I'll get around making ti with Dani sometime in the near future hopefully, provided she isn't stuck in another thread for the entirety of pregame. Haha

In any case, the party will be Dani's debut of her Momo Yaoyorozu cosplay.

Donovan would be enthusiastically in attendence.

Corbin would be there but a little uncomfy.

Abhi would be there to crash it.

Salem and Ashlyn will both definitely be unironically there to hang out. Ash in particular will be down for spooky things. If there's a costume element ongoing Cedar will either be there or wish she were there and be pestering friends to send photos.

Also, it depends on what the other Betties are doing, but if Ty's free I would be happy to have her act as a bouncer. Just, y'know, in case people act up.

In the chat on Discord, the idea of a "bathroom brawl"-thread was briefly brought up. So I guess that could be a scene for Betty to do some bouncing.

However, it appears we still have no clue how would start the brawl or why and its not clear how many are up for that. I would be interested to have Ethan participate, but only as the guy trying to diffuse the situation, not as one of the fighters.
