Hello and happy new year, everyone! We're here with some minor new year updates for you.

FAQ Update
We have added a note about profiles and the necessity of submitting your own work to the FAQ, since it's become a frequent question. If you're not familiar with the FAQ, go ahead and give it a read (or a re-read) here. If there's anything you think that staff should address in it, let us know!

V8 Homecoming
The Homecoming Court has been decided, and the forum for threads taking place around and during the Homecoming Dance will go up in February!

A Reminder About Entrance/Exit Tags & Linking Threads
When you enter a new thread, remember to indicate in an OOC tag where your character is coming from. This is important because it makes things easy for readers who are following along, and it helps staff keep track of where characters are and make sure that they are not in multiple threads at once or moving backwards in time. Likewise, be sure to officially indicate when your character has left their current thread, even if you do not yet know where they are going next.

Linking your threads for continuity is strongly encouraged as well, but at the very least, you need to make a note of where your character was previously so that we can be sure they actually left their last thread. Staff are going to start poking people that we see neglecting entrance and exit tags because that is something essential to do during the game proper.

That's all for now. We hope that everyone's 2022 is off to a great start, and we look forward to playing with all of you this year!
"Art enriches the community, Steve, no less than a pulsing fire hose, or a fireman beating down a blazing door. So what if we're drawing a nude man? So what if all we ever draw is a nude man, or the same nude man over and over in all sorts of provocative positions? Context, not content! Process, not subject! Don't be so gauche, Steve, it's beneath you."
