Was this supposed to be some kind of incomprehensible joke? A prank? Who the hell had done this? God, one of the covers on her textbooks had been completely scrunched up by this, who had put this here? Why? How had they managed to open-
Wait. There was a note, on half a piece of lined paper - that had better not come from one of her books.

“Taylor! Taylor, is this some kind of- Taylor! I know you’re hiding here somewhere! Taylor!”
The locker door remained yawning wide open, as Trinity’s footsteps echoed down the hallway, brand new gift clutched instinctively in her fist.
