Area: Housing

Description: The housing in the town is made up of simple two-story houses, most of these of built in the style of 70s and 80s American suburbs despite being far removed from such a setting. Many of the houses have similar layouts with some divergence: most feature a bottom floor consisting of a kitchen, dining room and living room, a second floor with a master and secondary bedroom, and a bathroom with a tub. A few of the houses have garages, but the vehicles they contained are either gone or have been rendered inoperable.

Tristana "Tana" Blanco Osuna's body lays in the closet of a master bedroom in one of the houses. She is mostly covered by bloody bedsheets, bloody pillows, and a bloody blue jacket, though her legs can be seen, as well as the tips of her fingers peaking out from under the pile. Anyone brave enough to uncover the body will discover the only wound present is a slit throat.

The closet was left open, so anyone can come across the sight easily.

As of Dare, the body of Roberta Chen lies in the living room on the first floor of a house. Judging by how both Roberta and her killer came from the Research Station, the house is probably more on the southern end of the town.

Roberta's corpse has her head split open by some kind of blade and she also recieved a nasty slash to the stomach. She lies on her back in front of a sofa.

Roberta's backpack lies somewhere else in the room, destroyed and empty apart from two bottles that got destroyed and leaked their water, a wet map, two soggy leaves of bread and a broken flashlight, the batteries removed.

When leaving the house, the culprit did not bother to close the door, meaning that it is wide open, making the house stand out from most others.

One of the houses has been somewhat reinforced with furniture at the entrances. There are supplies - one bag belonging to Marshall West and missing some food, water and the emergency blanket, and one barely touched bag belonging to the deceased Jess Kawazoe - stashed under a bed. A notice is scratched onto the door, stating the following:

SAFEHOUSE
WAIT HERE FOR HELP

CHLOE -
FOUND RICHARD IRIS DARRYL
RESEARCH STATION
ILL RUN BETWEEN
LEAVE MESSAGES HERE

As of Year Zero, signs of a bloody fight can be found very close to the house designated as a safehouse.

As of I'm the Psycho, You're the Freakshow, the body of Alex Avanesian lies on its side at the bottom of the stairs in a house near the bar. He is facing the stairs. One of the legs of his glasses are broken, his cheek is bruised, he has a bandaged gash on his right arm as well as assorted bruises and scrapes. Additionally, he has a stab wound in the back and a deeper gash in his neck. Lying next to him is a broken chunk of wood, matching with a partially broken railing from the stairs.

As of The Beginning and the End, or 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door', one of the houses has its front door locked and the back door that leads into the kitchen standing open. The broken kitchen window has had most of the glass pried out of it, leaving shards of glass scattered both inside and outside on the ground.

Billie Sommerfield's body is laying in the living room by her wheelchair, shot numerous times. There are a few stray bullet holes around her, and her bag is sitting on the living room couch. Most of the supplies inside save for the weapon and first-aid kit have been left untouched.

As of Minutes to Midnight, one of the houses is the site of a death. Abhishek Panicker's corpse lies reclined on a couch with his eyes closed, and from a distance, he looks almost as if he is asleep; on closer inspection, a large gash is visible on his side, where a blade tore through him, a fatal cut. His bag is on the ground beside the couch, still full of supplies.

In the center of the room, dropped haphazardly on the floor, is what seems to be a jury-rigged weapon—a large, thick branch around the size and shape of a baseball bat; there are five shurikens embedded inside of it for additional cutting power, their many spikes tipped with dried blood all across one side.

As of D’état, de grâce, the message on the door of the 'safehouse' has had blood smeared over it by a hand.

The blockade at the entrances is now loose and easily passable, though it still could be moved back into place fairly easily from the inside. The supplies previously stored in the house are gone. In the living room downstairs, covered in one of the moldy sheets from the upstairs bedroom, is the body of Chloé Delacroix near one of the walls. Several bullet holes decorate both the body and the wall around it. There's also a blunt force trauma head wound on the back of her head from being shoved into the wall she's near. There is a broken chair amid the mess around her.

Someone has put the Halloween mask, originally assigned to Cedar Dalisay, over the face of the corpse of Tristana "Tana" Blanco Osuna. The mask has bullet holes in it and is rather tattered, though this damage clearly occured before it was placed on the body.

One of the shruikens has been pried out of the weapon left in the same room as the body of Abhishek Panicker, though the other four and the branch itself (as well as the other supplies nearby) have been left behind.

As of The Scientific Method, Alexander Hawthorne's body, located propped against a house, stands with his arm hooked into a window, upright; from a distance, he looks almost as if he is still alive; on closer inspection, his ears are burst open and his arms are shredded, veins popped open and forearms embedded with shrapnel. There is no collar around his neck. A trail of blood runs from his body to a staircase leading into the water.

A few feet away, in a large pool of blood, his collar lays on the ground, broken beyond repair, its own guts spilling out into a heap.

On the house's wall, there is a message left:

IN HONOR OF VALENTIN SHULGIN:

TORQUE REMOVES THE COLLAR; CHECK THE GROUND NEAR THE WATER.

— ALEXANDER HAWTHORNE
