Appearance: Tull Talbott is a Caucasian male standing at 5'11'', weighing in at 176 lbs with a mesomorphic build. His body is well-toned and muscular from his workout routines. His head is oval-shaped, with grey-blue close-set upturned eyes, a thin aquiline nose, and a thin pair of lips. His strawberry blonde hair is cut into a spiky mohawk, and his pale eyebrows are nearly invisible in comparison with his skin tone. He has a full well-groomed beard. On his left bicep he has a pale blue tribal tattoo consisting of a band surrounded by waves. He speaks with a soft southern accent thanks to his parents' accents. He's left handed.

Talbott frequently dresses for the weather, usually favoring a look reminiscent of the 1950's through the 1970's. On the day of the abduction, Talbott was wearing multiple layers in relation to the weather. He was wearing a denim blue vest with torn sleeves covered in various band patches and movie references, on top of an olive green t-shirt, on top of a light grey long-sleeve shirt. Talbott wore a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of black leather boots. He also brought with him an olive green parka with grey fur lining the inside of the hood. To accessorize, he wore a leather band around his left wrist, and a silver earring on his left ear.

Biography: Tull was born to Creighton and Elsa Talbott in Salem, Massachusetts. Creighton is a construction worker, and Elsa is a homemaker due to their social views. As a result of having a single income, money is somewhat tight, but Creighton gets enough to keep them afloat. Tull had gotten his name from his father's favorite band Jethro Tull. Tull's parents decided on the name because it was alliterative, and to them it sounded old-timey and refined.

From an early age, he struggled with temper issues, many of these stemming from watching his father. Creighton had a habit of shouting or throwing his tools when something went wrong. Tull picked up on this behavior and emulating his father did the same at school. Anything from the inability to solve a problem, to answering a question, to just losing a game had made Tull angry. Generally, he broke whatever item, be it a toy or pencil that happened to catch his ire in response. He tended to lash out at people during disagreements, whether or not he was right or wrong. These verbal arguments would often escalate into physical fights. As a result, he found himself frequently suspended in elementary school. Oddly, these issues only seemed to happen while he was at school. When he was at home, Tull was usually mild mannered and well-behaved.

Tull's parents only learned of his behavior issues when he was sent home from school with a phone call. Because of this, Creighton assumed that Tull was being bullied and was acting in self-defense. Creighton turned to an old-fashioned solution and enrolled Tull in boxing classes. He expected this would allow Tull to vent his anger in a better direction, or at least humble him from starting fights in the future, but this only made him a better fighter. As Tull grew more skilled, he grew bolder and became even more willing to use his fists to solve his problems.

Now in middle school, Tull's behavior only worsened. He found himself frequently suspended and was at one point even given the threat of being sent to an alternative school. He improved slightly, but only as much as needed to avoid the worst outcomes.

Around this time, he also began watching cult horror movies, having found a collection of them in the basement of his house. He enjoyed them and began to watch them more and more, gaining significant knowledge of the works of groups like Hammer Film Productions, directors like Curt Siodmak, and actors like Boris Karloff. In particular he grew a fondness for the Twilight Zone series, introducing him to concepts he was previously unfamiliar to, in particular the episode 'The Masks' giving Tull a chance at some self-reflection.

It wasn't soon enough, however. Going into his second year of high school, Tull found himself on the wrong side of John Endecott Memorial Academy's zero-tolerance policy after he got into a fistfight with another student. He'd dished out a broken nose and a black eye before a staff member walked in, and he got suspended on the spot. The time totaled most of the remaining school year, and he failed all his classes, getting held back a year. The school hadn't really cared enough to send Tull to an alternative school due to considering him a lost cause.

This result was a massive wake-up call for Tull, who realized he needed to clean up his act or face dire consequences. He attended therapy for anger management and generally reformed himself. In addition, when he was allowed back into school, he began to talk to the coach, who helped to guide him in a better direction.

To this end, he, with the help of his therapist and the coach, persuaded the school administration to allow him to play lacrosse. Here, he found it was a more structured way to engage physically, though he sometimes can go overboard. He's a good player and a fearsome offensive force.

Unable to engage in sports during the COVID pandemic, he took up a new hobby: music. In particular, he taught himself how to play a hollow-body guitar that he found in the family attic. He enjoys playing rockabilly music, favoring the rhythms and vocal twangs of the genre, psychobilly being his favorite sub-genre. His favorite artists include Dan Sartain, Mad Sin, The Grims, and Sir Psycho and His Monsters.

At school, Tull is generally not a very good student. His grades are pretty bad, only barely enough to allow him to remain on the lacrosse team. In sports, he does much better. Socially, he's divisive, with many people having bad experiences with him before his reformation. At the same time, he's sincerely tried to improve himself and has impressed some with a markedly better attitude.

Tull isn't a long-term thinker and doesn't have much in the way of plans for the future. Tull doesn't think he'd do well in college, so he's thinking of going into construction after he graduates because it pays well and doesn't require much education. Despite his issues, his relationship with his parents isn't all that strained. Creighton's supportive of his son going into construction and intends to introduce him to the union he works for, so he has a better chance at longer lasting employment.

Advantages: Tull is a natural fighter and a trained boxer, so he'll likely do good in fights. He is strong, athletic, and has good stamina, which will serve him well on the island. Also, due to his therapy, he's gotten a good handle on his emotions.
Disadvantages: Tull is not a thinker and isn't very smart, so situations that require intense planning or thought will stumble him. He has a bad reputation, so people are unlikely to trust him. Also, even with his therapy, his temper might flare up again, which could cause problems on the island.
