Little Lost Bunny 2: Snow Job

(Wendy Kennedy, continued from Ursa Major Meltdown)
Wendy trekked across the snowfield, breathing heavily, map in hand. She had never walked in the cold so much in her life. She’d rather be inside her room, sitting at her computer, with some hot cocoa, just drawing another one of her pictures. She was missing home so much right now.
She had lost Shawn and the other boys she’d met at the research station. She figured she could follow them, safety in numbers and all that. But she got turned around while fleeing the research station. She looked at the map, looking at where she could go next for shelter. She spotted a trapping camp south of the island. Perhaps she could find a cabin or something to bunk in.
There was a slight breeze that sent a chill up Wendy’s spine. She stopped and unzipped her bag, and reached for the windbreaker that came with the other supplies. With this extra layer of clothing, she’d be able to deal with the cold a lot easier.
Wendy pressed onward, hoping to find shelter to hide in, hoping she didn’t encounter any hostile characters on the way.
