Aftermath NPC Roster

This is a list of NPCs that handlers are free to use in any of their scenes (within reason) in The Military Base without needing to seek prior approval from staff.

Name: Casper Bradley
Position: Military Police Officer
Gender: Male
Age: 25

Appearance: Casper stands at 6’0’’ and has a body type that is lean but muscled under his uniform. He has short black hair and large, round, blue eyes. Casper’s skin is fair, and his face appears boyish and youthful except for the dark circles around his eyes and a sadness in his gaze. He has deep scars on the top of his right forearm. He will only be seen in his Army uniform with the insignia of the 42nd MP Brigade.

Biography/Personality: Casper was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was orphaned at a young age after his mother died in random shooting when he was a toddler and his father died of illness when he was 12. He went into the foster system and was shuttled from home to home until he came of age and enlisted, eventually becoming an MP officer. Casper has been described as someone with good leadership qualities. He is quiet, but people find him to have a reassuring nature and charisma that make them comfortable following his directions. He is a good listener, emotionally intelligent, and empathetic, though people have said he occasionally exudes an air of melancholy.

Name: John Stephen
Position: CIA Agent
Gender: Male
Age: 37

Appearance: John is 5’9’’ and cuts an almost startlingly thin frame. He is of Caucasian descent and has fair skin. He has shoulder-length blonde hair that is kept in a neat bun and up-turned blue eyes that are often narrow with suspicion. John has a chiseled jaw, which normally sports some stubble, bright blue eyes, and prominent cheek bones. He wears black slacks, a white button-down shirt, black dress shoes, and a purple tie.

Biography/Personality: John was born and raised in Culpeper, Virginia. His father, uncle, and many other relatives of his were law enforcement. From a young age he was pushed toward the goal of eventually joining a federal agency in Washington, to the point where he wasn’t given much opportunity to develop hobbies or interests that wouldn’t serve that goal. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and later a master's degree in political science from the University of Virginia. John is not a shy person, but he doesn’t seem to enjoy the company of many people. He is stern and can be harsh with people during the course of his work, but he sincerely tries to be fair, just, and professional. John is easily annoyed and does not hide his disdain when it happens. Around the base, he is frequently seen in the company of the Interpol agent he has been collaborating with on the SOTF incident, Rosario Gomez, who he seems to get along with.

Name: Rosario Gomez
Position: Interpol Agent
Gender: Female
Age: 44

Appearance: Rosario stands at 5’4’’ and has an hourglass figure accentuated by well-tailored suits in dark colors. She has an olive complexion and large brown eyes framed by dark lashes. Her wavy black hair is always pulled back into a low ponytail and she wears dark lipsticks. She usually smiles politely when speaking.

Biography/Personality: Rosario was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to a family that had acquired considerable wealth from cattle ranching. It is rumored her family was able to acquire more land through strategic alliances during The Dirty War. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology before going to law school, specializing in international law from Georgetown University. In initial and superficial discussions she comes across as friendly, kind, and patient. However, she has an aura of faint menace about her. She can be extremely cold and brutal in her questioning and investigations, even while wearing her usual smile. Rosario is used to making veiled threats or unnerving comments with the same cheerful demeanor with which she discusses the weather. Though working towards ends she believes are right and just, she does not have much sympathy for others, especially if they are in the way of her job. She is recently often seen happily in the company of John Stephen.

Name: Tori Miremadi
Position: Military base physician
Gender: Female
Age: 46

Appearance: Tori is 5’6’’and is of medium build except in her wider-than-average hips. She has a tan complexion and dark, frizzy hair down to her chest that’s usually kept in a french braid. Her face is round and her brown eyes are down-turned and expressive. At work, she wears pink scrubs.

Biography/Personality: Tori is the youngest of five, born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her parents came to the United States from Iran, where they had been doctors. However, upon arrival in America they were unable to return to their old jobs and opened a bakery. With scholarships, Tori was able to get her bachelor's degree at Arizona State University and later her medical degree at University of Washington. Tori is an excellent doctor when it comes to diagnosis and treatment but unskilled in bedside manner. She delivers news bluntly without much thought for sensitivity and sometimes talks about the patient as if they aren't in the room. Tori is very chatty with patients in topics that interest her. She can talk people’s ears off about new recipes she’s tried, songs she likes, or sports, as she is an avid sports gambler. Her chatty and excitable nature have caused some colleagues to compare her to a sorority girl even into her 40s, and she speaks with an upward inflection at the end of her sentences.
