Biography/Personality: Mr. Butler played football as a linebacker in his high school years, and entered the military fresh out of high school. Thereafter, he was deployed to Afghanistan during the ongoing war by the United States Marine Corps. There, he suffered a leg injury that led to an honorable discharge, and took up painting upon returning home, earning a degree and a teaching license in 2018 and taking up the position of art teacher at Red Rock. He is known for being a polite and fairly soft spoken man that is nonetheless very stern and extremely serious, never being seen smiling or heard laughing by the students. He is firm but fair with his art students, giving them blunt but constructive criticism and encouragement in equal measure. At home, he is a single man who mostly keeps to himself, but known among his neighbors for fostering kittens from the local animal shelter.
