Name: Neil Francisco
Position: Athletic Director, Head Football Coach
Gender: Male
Age: 53

Appearance: Coach Francisco stands at an intimidating 6’8” and weighs nearly 300lbs. In many respects, resembling more the part of bouncer than educator. Coach is bald with large brown eyes; a thick black mustache and dark olive skin with big burly forearms that are rarely not seen folded across his chest. Coach Francisco is prone to wearing suits to school, some subtle and some ostentatious, but all too small for his muscular frame. Both his fashion and his general size are the source of some light ribbing by both faculty and students, he’s known to not mind and even partake from time to time.

Biography/Personality: Neil Francisco is Vegas to his core and is somewhat of a local legend in the community itself. Francisco began working at Southwest Red Rock as part of the initiative to expand with the local mayor, eventually committing to the school by leaving his job in the private sector to coach the football team and manage Southwest Red Rock’s growing athletic department. Neil’s original background was in hospitality where he was a fairly successful restauranter and entrepreneur, this is a background he still makes use of in terms of fundraising and sponsorship opportunities for the school. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration from UNLV where he was a stand-out at left tackle and an all-Mountain West selection his junior and senior year.

As the Athletic Director he is the main fundraising and organizational arm for the athletic department. He works closely with Principal Winegarden when it comes to budget, facility expansion, hiring and other logistical elements of running the school’s athletic program. As a football coach, he is known as a player’s coach who prioritizes teamwork and playing instinctive, situational football. Neil is known to change his depth charts from game to game and if given the ability will rotate even his quarterback depending largely on situation. He is not much of a disciplinarian though he is known to openly play favorites and use that knowledge as a motivational tactic for his players.
